Peter was such a great host, super friendly and hospitable. The flat was lovely and the room was just the right size for two people. Everything was clean and organized. The only drawback, as some have mentioned, are the train tracks nearby. The room was quite warm so we had to keep the window open but got used to the sound pretty quickly. The location is perfect, there are so many nice restaurants and bars close by and outdoor markets and interesting shops. And of course close to the train.

Peter was so easy to keep in touch with. He had some great recommendations of places to eat at and things to see. We really enjoyed our late night chats and getting to know him. We loved how clean he kept the place and welcoming he made it. He invited us out with him and his friends as well which was very sweet of him.

Peter is a really friendly host, he made us feel very much at home in his lovely apartment. The location is great! It's walking distance to the markets, shops and bars and there's some great street art in the area. We would definitely recommend Peters apartment. Thank you Peter!

Had a warm welcome, lots of good guidance for sightseeing including help with maps and timetables and restaurant references. Comfy bed. Friendly and most interesting. Very quiet home.

Peter is an exceptionally friendly and caring host. Gave me handy advice on pubs in the area. The place was clean and neat. And yes, the flat is as cool as the photos suggest.

Hi my name is Peter and I manage 2 properties in London. I live in my listing called the Artistic Flat with the amazing view. I also have an apartment on Brick Lane. These are located right in the middle of one of the one most interesting neighbourhoods in London called Shoreditch.

The flats are unique spaces and many different artists including myself have made this flat so beautiful, it is worth coming to just see it for yourself!

I really enjoy meeting and hosting guests from all around the globe! I am more than happy to show people round, give good local recommendations and always welcome guests to join me for a meal or a night out.

I believe that a world traveller is the ideal host and want to make sure my guests have the best time possible. Airbnb is more of a lifestyle than a business and I really enjoy making new friends

I look forward to meeting you :)

DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORTS:

Eurostar

From Kings Cross Station, take the Hammersmith & City Line (pink one) east to Algate East station. From there walk up Brick Lane. If you don’t have a map ask people where is Brick Lane, it is a very famous street. Walk up Brick Lane for 10 minutes, you will pass the City Bikes, walk under the bridge then turn right on to Cheshire Street. Walk down this street for 5 minutes until you see the next set of City Bikes. Our building is immediately on the right.

Heathrow

Take the Piccadilly line (dark blue) towards the city centre. Change at Holborn station on to the central line (red one). Head east and exit at Bethnal Green station.

Stanstead

Take the national express to Liverpool street station. £15 return. From there you can walk (25 minutes) or take the underground 2 stops on the central line to Bethnal Green station. The underground for two people would be a similar price as taking a taxi.

Gatwick

Take the train to London Bridge, they run four times an hour with a journey time of 30 minutes. Then take the northern line (black one) one stop and change at Bank. Then take the central line (red one) east two stops to Bethnal Green station

City

From London City airport station take the DLR west to Shadwell (9 stops). Head north on the overground (orange line) two stops to Shoreditch High street Station. Exit onto the main street and turn right. Walk pass the city bikes onto Sclater Street. A brick wall with grafetti should be on your right and a tall glass building on your left. Walk straight to the end of the street, then walk straight across Brick Lane onto Cheshire Street. Walk down Cheshire Street for 5 minutes until you reach the next set of City Bikes. Our building called Chapter House is immediately on the right.

South End

Take the train From South End station to Liverpool Street station, its take 55
minutes. From there you can walk (25 minutes) or take the underground 2 stops on the central line to Bethnal Green station. The underground for two people would be a similar price as taking a taxi.
