About this listing
Check out our other room available.
I live in a condo on the top floor. There are great views off the city from our balcony. The flat is situated on the edge of central London (zone 1)
The walls of the apartment are covered in art work and guests are always amazed by the interesting style of the place. Come see the guest wall filled with polaroid photos of the amazing people that have stayed in our home. Most importantly I am very sociable, friendly and always interested in meeting new people. I spend much of my time showing guests the unique and interesting things to do in London that you would never find in a travel guide.
During your stay you will be provided with your own private room, towels, hair dryer, staightner and fresh bed linen. You are more than welcome to use all the facilities including the kitchen, bathroom, wash/dryer and wifi.
Interaction with Guests
The apartment is right in the heart of all the interesting things to do in East/Central London. 3 minute walk from my flat there is the famous Brick Lane Street which is home to many vintage shops, restaurants and bars. Every weekend there is Spitalfields market and every Sunday Brick lane market and Columbia Road Flower market. The whole neighbourhood is covered in street art and attracts the best artists in the world. Being a fellow artist myself if you would like a tour of local street art i would be more than happy to show you around.
Im often getting up to pretty interesting things around london, be it restaurants, bars, unicycle hockey, skateboarding, ultimate frisbee, conquet, roller blading, picnic in the park or creating street art. You are always be welcome to join.
Hope to see you soon
My neighbourhood, 'Shoreditch' is my favourite neighbourhood, I must admit I've been weeks without leaving this area. I love it because it has everything you need, cool bars, clubs and vintage shops all within a ten minute walk of the apartment.
The apartment could not be better connected to the 24 hour bus system in London and the underground. We are in the middle of 5 different underground stations. We are only 15 minute walk from Liverpool street station, 5 minutes from Shoreditch station, 10 minutes from Bethnal green, Whitechapel and Aldgate east stations. We are 300m from the Brick Lane.
Other Things to Note
There are 4 supermarkets very close to our apartment with long opening hours .
Please treat our house like you would treat your own. That includes, shoes off at the front door please.
Respect the mutual areas, because sharing is careing!
Make yourself at home :)
About the Host, Rosetta (Rosie) Carr
Hi my name is Rosie and I live right in the middle of one of the one most interesting neighbourhoods in London called Shoreditch.
The flat (that is not mine but of Peter, the landlord) is a unique space and many different artists have made this flat so beautiful, it is worth coming to just see it for yourself!
I'm so the hostess of the house in the mean time that Peter is away.
I'm Italian, fluent in 3 languages, Italian Spanish and English.
I love practising my linguistic skills with my guests and learning new languages too!
(French and Brazilian Portuguese @ the moment)
My passion is music (trying to learn play guitar & bass), cook (Italian style),dance and outdoor activities such as longboarding, rollerblading, juggling and lots more. I hope to share some of my passion with my guests.
I live in the apartment but usually from 11 to 9 i'm at work, except weekends (that's why i kindly ask to my guests once they know the arrival time to let me know, so i can manage the check in.
Direct Check in time during the week is from 6 am to 10.45 am or after 9.30 pm. In case you arrive after 11 am i'll manage to leave the keys in the local pub or in the shop close to the flat so you can get in, but we will talk about it in your reservation. Check out time is before 9 am but just from the room, feel free to stay and enjoy the flat until you are ready to leave, i'll give you a copy of the key so you can also go out if you need to).
I really enjoy meeting and hosting guests from all around the globe!
It’s lovely meeting new people, and since I'm quite new in the area,we could discover it together :)
I believe that a world traveller is the ideal host. Looking for people with good common sense for sharing an apartment. I want to make sure my guests have the best time possible. Airbnb is more of a lifestyle than a business ( even because you don't pay me, but the landlord eheheh) , I really enjoy making new friends.
I look forward to meeting you :)
