This home is in the Magnolia Park neighborhood which had many homes built in the 1920’s. It’s location is close to downtown Clearwater and has quick easy access to Clearwater Beach by car, bike trail, or trolley bus. Clearwater Beach was voted Best Beach Town in Florida, 2013, by USA Today
The home is smoke-free and very clean.
The front entrance opens to the living room and adjoins the dining area.
There are 3 bedrooms in a split style, and two bathrooms. The south bedroom has a queen bed , and the middle bedroom has a double bed. Bedding is provided.
The north bedroom can also function as a family room – it’s very large with a queen sleeper sofa and twin trundle beds. There is a nice sitting area with television and DVD player
There are two bathrooms. The main bath has a standard tub with shower, and the other is a bath off of the family room, with shower. Bath linens & blow driers provided.
The kitchen is equipped with table service for 8 and standard cookware. There is a refrigerator, stove with oven and a microwave. Also available are toaster oven, coffee pot and blender.
Outdoor gas grill is available for your use.
Stereos are in living room and north bedroom.
Washer and dryer, iron and Ironing board are located off family room.
There is a large 220 square foot screened breezeway with side entrance to the house that makes a great outdoor sitting area. Off-street parking is provided for two cars.
The home sits on a 175 foot wide corner lot and has several citrus trees on the property. Great oranges, tangerines and grapefruit. in season.
The downtown location gives you shops and restaurants and our bus depot within walking distance. If you would like to watch the sunset, the intercoastal waterway is just a few blocks away and you can sit on one of the covered docks and enjoy the sunset or just watch the boats go by.
Spring training baseball games are at BrightHouse Field (home of the Phillies), just 4.6 miles away and also accessible by bus.
Lots to see and do or just kick back and relax.

Every evening the place to be is Pier 60 in the heart of Clearwater Beach. For two hours before sunset and two hours after, artisans, street performers, musicians and more take over the activity center of Clearwater Beach.

Weedon Island Preserve's 1,500 island acres offers 9 miles of hiking trails, 4 miles of canoe and kayak trails, a fishing pier, observation platforms and an elevated boardwalk providing an intimate view of the flora and fauna of Florida.
The Gulf of Mexico and our rivers offer watchable wildlife. Approximately 2,600 manatees inhabit our springs, bays and canals, feeding on aquatic plants. Everyone's favorite, the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin, can be seen cavorting with beauty and grace. Alligators can be found in some freshwater areas of the county. And over 300 species of fish swim in our waters.
Check-in is after 3 p.m. and check-out is before 11 a.m.
We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age
unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
NO SMOKING inside the home and pets are permitted only with prior permission.
While linens are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.
House linens are not to be taken from the home, however we have provided 3 beach towels for your use. Linens are not to be used as cleaning rags.
Home is located in a family neighborhood. Please respect our neighbors.
The home is for the enjoyment and use by the registered guests only. Events/Parties are not permitted. We will be glad to recommend local parks if you want to arrange a social gathering for entertaining.
Please respect the home and it's contents. Please leave property in same condition you found it, which includes, removing any trash you've accumulated and cleaning soiled dishes
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense
will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental
money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
PARKING - Off-street parking is provided in the driveway next to the house for maximum of two vehicles. Parking must not occur on the yard. Parking is also permitted on the street. Parking for recreational vehicles, boats, or trailers is not permitted.
Communication was very proactive and the unit was very clean. The location was was close in proximity to the beach. There is also a supermarket in the neighbourhood. The location is perfect and the privacy was great. Bruce was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!
Had a totally positive experience with this rental. The home was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect as we were able to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Clearwater Beach and then retreat to the quiet and comfort of this home. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Thanks Bruce!
A lovely bungalow in a lovely neighbourhoor. The hosts were available (I only know this because they took down the garbage on garbage day) but in no way intrusive. They were also good about responding to messages before we arrived. The home is about a 10 min drive from the beach and there a number of good restaurants within a 10 minute drive. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
We had a lovely time at this little ranch in Clearwater. It was extremely convenient and the neighborhood was pretty nice. We really appreciated Bruce's accommodation of our needs. We also messed up our reservation in terms of dates and that could have been a huge nightmare, but Bruce was very understanding and we were very lucky to have him as our host. I would recommend him as a host, any time.
Prospect Ranch House is a spacious, clean and relaxing house in a quiet neighborhood. Our experience here was wonderful. Bruce was easy to get a hold of and a gracious host. When the air conditioner quit he had it serviced and running within hours. The location is easy access to beaches, shopping, restaurants and major streets using a car. We did not access public transportation or go outside the neighborhood on foot. We would stay again and have already recommended this property to friends.
It was a very comfortable and convenient location. the hosts were quite lovely.
The host was available to us when we needed. The house was as described. The host answered my needs when things werent working or if I had questions.

About the Host, Bruce
We own a software company specializing in digital dictation and transcription solutions. Our "hobby" has been renovating old homes here in the Magnolia Park neighborhood of Clearwater. We have 4 vacation rental properties that we maintain ourselves.
One of our daughters and her family live 2 doors down from us, with 3 grandchildren that keep us hopping. We love the location - close to downtown Clearwater, yet just a short ride to the beautiful beaches of Clearwater, Indian Rocks and Dunedin (Caladesi Island and Honeymoon Island).
We love to bicycle, boat, swim, and enjoy fun times with our family and friends! We hope you can make it to our special part of the Gulf Coast that we call home...
