This cabin is nestled right on banks of the beautiful Shenandoah River with a spectacular year round view. The 1000 plus square foot deck overlooks the Shenandoah River as well as your own 35-foot long private boat dock. You can enjoy using the canoe, or maybe fishing at the dock. This is the perfect getaway for your pleasure and relaxation at a great price. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

The space
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! This cabin sits directly on the Shenandoah River and is located just 10 minutes away from Massanutten Resort and 20 minutes from one of the entrances to Shenandoah National Park.

River Haven Cottage is nestled on the beautiful Shenandoah River with a spectacular year round view. The very name River Haven hints to its warm and cozy place on the river. Life at the cabin is very low key, just the place to relax and take it easy while having the full features of a home at your finger tips. Explore the river or the nearby national parks, all at your own pace. River Haven has something to offer for all who visit.

Additionally, this property is located in a town steeped in railroad history. Occasionally, you will hear trains. Please be sure to check out the train museum in the town of Shenandoah-just a short drive away.

We are pet friendly-2 dog maximum.

River Haven is the perfect place to relax. Enjoy a local hike or sit back on our large deck and enjoy the river. River Haven offers all the comforts of home with the advantages of being located by the Shenandoah River. Bring a pole and lures and enjoy our abundant small mouth bass or take the canoe and tour the river. Please note-this property may not be best suited for those with mobility issues, as there is a slight incline/decline getting to the cabin and back up to the driveway.

The 1000 plus square foot deck overlooks the Shenandoah River as well as your own 35 foot long private boat dock. For your pleasure and relaxation, the cottage is furnished with an outdoor grill, deck furniture, pillows, blankets.

Please note that 2 beds are located in the loft area above the living room space (see pictures) Bedroom 1 - 1 queen bed; Bedroom 2 - 1 queen bed; Loft Sleeping Area - 2 twin/ single beds, (loft is vertical ladder accessed), Living room area - 1 queen sleeper sofa

*The Loft bed area is not tall enough for an adult to stand upright in and is accessed by a vertical ladder that you will have to climb to reach the loft. When considering occupancy always remember the Futon in the living room folds down to sleep two adults comfortably if the ladder is an issue for your guest.

We are pet friendly and allow up to 2 dogs. Prior approval required for any other pet. Please be sure to include your pet(s) when booking your reservation.

Our check-out time of 11:00 AM is firm, as our cleaning staff have multiple properties to get ready for the guests who are following your stay. Guest will be billed at $100.00 per hour for a late check-out beginning at 11:15 AM. We do realize that sometimes packing can be cumbersome, and time consuming, however we want our vacation rentals to be sparkling clean for our next vacationers. We anticipate and appreciated your understanding of this check-out time.

The cabin is located in close proximity to the Shenandoah National Park as well as other local attractions such as caverns, vineyards and historic landmarks.
