Texas style private guest house w/wood burning fireplace located on a scenic 5 acres in Wise County TX. Minutes away from LBJ Grasslands, Black Creek Lake & historic down town Decatur. Property offers fire pit, swimming pool, hot tub & outdoor kitchen w/gas grill & pizza oven for use in the common area for additional $10 per person. Pet friendly! Additional $10 per night per pet. Enjoy nature, stargaze in the hammock, roast smores by the fire or cool off in the pool! Unplug, relax & recharge!

The space
Cozy and relaxing is how people describe the guest house. The sunsets and sunrises are picture perfect. You are likely to catch a glimpse of a family of deer grazing from your back porch while you are surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature! Located on 5 acres, feel free to roam the property & reconnect with nature. You can enjoy a relaxing evening in the hot tub under the stars, roast smores by the fire with the family or cool off in the summer with a dip in the pool!
Property features outdoor covered kitchen with a gas grill & pizza oven and fire pit area for relaxing. The Grattitude garden is located behind the guest house and is a great place to view the famous Wise County sunsets while surrounded by beautiful flowers. Be sure to leave a Grattitude Rock in the garden before leaving and come back often to "water" it :)

During your stay

We are your typical friendly Texan family and are here to help your stay as comfortable as possible. We live in the main house on site and are available 24 hours. If you choose to have pool/hot tub access it will be private. You do not have to share with us :) We will keep to ourselves unless you request otherwise. We have several dogs and cats on the property so don't be alarmed if they stop and say "hi"
