AVL Bear Haven is nestled perfectly on the city's mountain ridge. It is only 3 miles down the ridge to Downtown Asheville, 5.3 miles to Biltmore Estate and only 4 miles up the ridge to Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy the tastefully designed unit with a huge front deck, views, nature & lots of fresh air. A baby grand piano is there for your musical inspiration. You may see a bear, or two, occasionally, so please be careful, lock your doors and do not feed bears! You will not be disappointed!

The space
The house is a duplex. AVL Bear Haven is the upper unit with its own entrance and its own deck. Lower unit is rented separately.

Other things to note
During your stay we hope you will enjoy lots of nature and wildlife, including the black bears who stroll through the woods occasionally. While these bears are generally not aggressive, particularly if they don't feel threatened, they can be quite curious. This is especially true for the little cubs, who are naturally inquisitive.

For your safety and to prevent any unwanted encounters, please do not leave any food or trash outside, on the deck, or in your unlocked car! Ensure that you lock your doors at all times. Following these precautions should ensure a safe and enjoyable stay.
