Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace, the center of Seoul.

Built about 100 years ago, Dongchonjae is a traditional Hanok officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organization.

Dongchonjae has been operated since October 2020 by a retired couple who opened their home.

Dongchonjae is located near Gyeongbokgung Palace and Gwanghwamun Square, the center of Seoul, so transportation is very convenient.

For foreign guests, we provide two thick and fluffy Korean-style mattresses (cotton mattresses) per person so that you can sleep comfortably even on the floor.

We installed air conditioners mainly in areas necessary for the healthy and pleasant ventilation of guests.

You can use the washing machine in the property freely. After washing, you can let it air dry on the drying rack in the Dongchonjae yard, where there is plenty of sunlight and breeze. If it rains or the weather is cloudy, making it difficult to dry in the yard, please let the host know, and we will help you use the dryer provided in a separate area.

■ Infant standard

Dongchonjae recognizes only children under 12 months of age as infants, and this applies to one person only.

Children over 12 months of age are considered regular guests and will be charged.
