One of a kind full home country getaway on a working ranch.

Experience how Texas was meant to be lived. Hike, Relax, Play, Fish.

The 3,700 sq ft 5 bedroom Twin Creeks Ranch House which can sleep 14 with Tennis and Sport Court and huge outdoor living space with wrap around covered porch, back deck overlooking waterfalls and creek, and outdoor firepit, is the centerpiece of a 180 acre working ranch equidistant from Houston, Austin, and Dallas, and a short drive to both Texas A&M and Baylor.

The space
Twin Creeks is a century old working ranch, and has been known in the area for its gorgeous pastures and the two spring fed creeks which give it its name meet just below the house in a pair of sandstone waterfalls.

Relax, Play, Work, Explore

Plenty of local attractions to try out, wooded ranch and open fields and walking trails to explore, a mile of creek bed, and a 2 acre pipe fenced yard around the ranch house and newly reconditioned Sport Court with Tennis, Basketball, Shuffleboard and Pickle Ball.

Relax: Enjoy your pick outside of three porch swings, 6 rocking chairs, two back porch seating areas, two outdoor couches, hammock, several chaise lounge chairs, picnic table etc, with a massive wrap around covered slate porch and back deck. Inside, choose from two living areas with wifi and satellite TV included on two TVs in the downstairs and upstairs living rooms, three window seat reading nooks in each upstairs bedrooms. Relax at the kitchen bar while you make dinner, chill on the day bed in the master suite, or disappear into the private office to work.

Work: Sunny office with large desk available for use, wifi, office desks, and printer available, bring your own laptop and tablet and move your remote work to the country.

Explore: Trails are cut through 50 acres of woods, a mile of creek beds, and 100 acres of pasture with a pair of ponds. The ranch is packed with wildlife, birds, whitetail deer, hogs, coyotes, armadillos, cottontail rabbits, ducks, herons, red ear and snapping turtles and yes it's a working cattle ranch with cattle, chickens, and even a couple of donkeys to feed.

Stargazing: Equal distant from the major Texas cities, the skies are the clearest you find outside of West Texas itself. When was the last time you had cocktails on the porch and could actually see the Milky Way?

Play: Besides the Sport Court with Regulation Tennis, Pickle Ball and Shuffle Board, and a 55' Basketball Court with adjustable backboards for kids, play games outside with swing set, cornhole boards, bocce, horseshoes or croquet on the lawn, cards, and a selection of board games available. Bring your bikes and pets. Bring your fishing poles and try your luck with catch and release bass fishing.

Eat: Friday night is catfish buffets, order for pick up or try out the fabulous New Baden General Store for dinner, check out the Chicken Fried Steak at the Dixie Cafe or try Mary's El Alamo (called by one guest the best Mexican Food in Texas) and Ama's Mexican Cafe in Hearne, and don't forget to check out Farmers to Market Coffee, Wonkey Donkey Pizza, and Twisted 6 BBQ in Historic Calvert.

Sport Court/Games

Newly reconditioned sport court available for guests' private use. Regulation Tennis, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard, and 55' basketball court, along with swing sets. Balls and rackets provided, or bring your own.

No motorized recreational vehicles, offroading, hunting or shooting without permission. Excellent local fishing as well at the nearby Franklin Ranch Community Park.
