  • We enjoyed our stay here very much. The apartment is very convenient, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Our hosts were very helpful. My only thought is that I think fitting 6 adults into the apartment would tricky in terms of sleeping arrangements, unless you're happy to sleep close. But, this aside, we thought this was a wonderful place from which to explore New York. Highly recommended! Thanks Teia and Ally!

  • This was a really nice apartment in an old house.
You have your own entrance and it feels like you have the whole building to yourself.
The apartment was clean and Teia & Ally wer very helpful throughout my visit.
The area has everything you would need, supermarkets, bars & cafes and is a 10 minute walk to the subway.

  • We had a great time at Teia and Ally's place. The apartment is actually more beautiful than the pictures suggest, I thought. Both hosts are very friendly and the neighbourhood is nice too.

  • I had a wonderful stay in this Brooklyn apartment. It was clean, spacious, private and perfect for an NYC getaway.

Having so much space at such a good price was quite incredible. I also hired a bike for a few days, which meant getting around Brooklyn was much easier - and much more fun!

I would highly recommend it. The hosts were lovely, very helpful and very accommodating (even with my inability to use the doors properly!)

  • This was our first experience with Airbnb and it couldn't have been any better. Teia and Ally are friendly hosts, their app is beautiful and has everything you'd need for a short or longer stay. It was our home away from home for 9 days. The neighbourhood is colourful and it's only a 10 minute walk to the A-C subway. We would definately stay again next time we visit NYC!

  • We had a really great stay at Teia & Ally's apartment. The place is all you could wish for and perfect for a couple. Spacious, bright, well-equipped, comfy, quiet... what else?
Moreover, we were in NY during one of the hottest week of the year so the a/c was just a blessing.
The apartment's location is really convenient, either you'd like to explore Brooklyn or reach Manhattan. Two subway stations (Ralph and Utica avenue) are less than 10-minute walk.
As regards the host, Teia was really responsive and confirmed our reservation within a few hours. We didn't get a chance to meet her in person but we ran into Ally as we were checking in and she was really welcoming.
We would definitely recommend this place and try to stay there again next time we're in NY.

  • POSITIVES: The place was very clean, and spacious (there were four of us); It looked just like the pictures. There are a lot of friendly notes around the apartment that helped with settling in; I, especially, was thankful for the taxi cab service info because there is no hailing a cab in Brooklyn. Teia was very responsive and friendly to my friends and myself, even though I never actually saw her (my sister checked in before I arrived, and she helped my cousin when she couldn't open the door late one night coming back). The place has a lot of natural light because of the big beautiful windows. We didn't spend too much time in the apartment, just getting ready to go out or for sleep. It served it's purpose. The neighbors were pretty friendly, and there is a really good Indian restaurant on the corner.
SLIGHT DRAWBACKS: Though not an unreasonable distance, It is quite a walk from the train. If you are not person who walks regularly, and/or have more than one bag, I would suggest taking a taxi, but for regular coming and going the walk is fine. Only two out the four mirrors were useful: one in the hallway (and only in daylight) and in the bathroom. This might not be a big issue for some but it was four of us girls, so getting ready there was a lot of rotation.
OVERALL: I would recommend this place to a friend and would stay there again.

  • The apartment was everything promised - clean and airy, and in a beautiful neighborhood with well kept homes. We had a little trouble opening the front door, but Teia got back to us within minutes of our texting her. By then, we had figured it out and gotten the door open. Parking was free and easy. We had no trouble getting a spot in front of the apartment, or at least within a few houses of it. We would be happy to rent this space again, and recommend it wholeheartedly.
