Just a few minutes stroll to the sea front and Cromer pier, set on the upper floors of one of the town's traditional Victorian homes, this flat has been completely refurbished while retaining it's original spirit. Relax on comfy sofas and in snuggly beds after a day on the beach or exploring North Norfolk's beautiful coastline. Close to everything Cromer, from coffee shops and restaurants, promenade, beaches and everything else this lovely English seaside town has to offer. Your holiday home!

The space
The flat has been completely refurbished during the summer of 2020. You'll be surprised by all the amenities hidden in this traditional building: washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, induction hob and high-speed internet. Yet the home has real character: colours and tiles reminiscent of the Victorian origins, stripped pine floors with gorgeous rugs, quirky ceilings (mind your head!) and a character staircase.

The flat is on the second and third floors: the building was originally one home, but was converted to three flats many years ago. So please be prepared for the stairs: if you need a stair gate or two, let me know and I will provide when you arrive.

The main bedroom has a beautiful brassy king-size bed and is on the main floor of the flat. The bathroom and second bedroom - with a small double bed and a set of shorty bunks - is on the upstairs floor. There are two sofa-beds in the living room, each makes a comfy single bed if you need more sleeping space than the beds and bunks in the bedrooms.

There is an off-road parking space that you can use - like the flat, it's quirky. Best to drive in and reverse out: I will provide more info on request.

Where you’ll be

Norfolk, England, United Kingdom

Cromer Pier. Cromer Crabs. The lifeboat. Crabbing on the pier. End of pier show (in years without a pandemic). Sunrises and sunsets on the promenade. Sploshy high tides. Smooth sandy beaches for sandcastles and paddling or rock pools for exploring. Surfing lessons and peregrines in the tall, tall tower of Cromer's church (it's worth a climb for the view). To the lighthouse! (Cromer's or Happisburgh's). Birdwatching at nearby Cley; Sheringham's steam railway; or nip into Norwich to the castle and more. Cromer is a quiet seaside town with all the traditions of the English seaside holiday: fish and chips, beach huts, ice cream, the zoo, fairground rides by the sea, fragrant doughnuts... Wish you were here already?

"No matter what language we speak, we understand each other perfectly". That's what I strive for... whether it's through work in globalization and translation management, or through photography and words. Favourite destinations: the Middle East, England (it's where I grew up and now I'm back, living in my childhood dream, North Norfolk), France (lived there for many years), Poland and other parts of Europe, Japan, Jamaica, California and New York, USA, and everywhere I haven't been... yet! As a traveller, I believe it's important to contribute to the economy of the places I am passing through. That's why Airbnb's concept is so meaningful to me. I've spent time in many Airbnb's, hotels, and homes around the world and I've tried to bring the best of my experiences into my own Airbnb for you to share and enjoy.
