We welcome you to our contemporary studio apartment situated in Stellenbosch. It comes fully equipped and furnished and includes a compact kitchen and private balcony with a braai (BBQ). We provide a comfortable bed with high quality linens, and all the essential amenities. The building boasts an upper terrace pool area with magnificent views. Possibility of rolling power cuts (load-shedding):

• South Africa's electricity provider, Eskom, may implement "load-shedding" during your stay. This means that your stay may be affected by scheduled rolling power-cuts. Since the building isn't equipped with backup power, the elevator won't be operational during these times so you'll need to take the stairs to the first floor.
• Load-shedding won't affect your ability to access the property via the smart lock.
• To help ensure your comfort during these power cuts, we provide rechargeable lamps and a hot water flask.
• The internet connection is protected by a battery backup, but please note that the ISP's own power supply may be unstable resulting in connectivity issues. As such, this amenity is provided as a best effort.
• We recommend that you pack a fully-charged power bank to keep your mobile phone and any other essential electronics charged during your stay.

By booking, you acknowledge that none of the items listed above will be an issue for your booking party and you understand that no discounts or refunds will be given for this reason.

Laundry service:

• For their personal laundry needs, guests may arrange services directly with our contractor at their own expense, with collection and delivery provided at the property.

Deliveries:

• Mail service is not available at this address.
• Guests will need to please collect their food deliveries and any other orders at the building entrance.

For guests staying more than 7 nights, please note the following additional information about the property and services.

Cleaning and Laundry

• The accommodation will be professionally cleaned once weekly between 10 am and 5 pm (up to 3 hours duration). Guests may request additional cleaning days subject to housekeeper availability. Each clean incurs our standard cleaning fee (exception of any deep cleaning), with only the post-checkout clean being inclusive.
• A laundry contractor will collect the accommodation's dirty linen/towels on cleaning days. Cleaned items will be delivered 1-3 days later between 10 am and 5 pm, or may optionally be held over until the next collection is due.
• Unless agreed otherwise, housekeeper and laundry contractor will have the guest's implicit permission to access the property when required, including during times when the property may be unoccupied. They will knock and wait before entering with their unique access PINs.

Electricity and Water

• An electricity allocation is provided for the initial booking duration. Guests can monitor their electricity usage on the prepaid electricity meter inside the property. The electricity meter will begin to beep when the remaining credit is low.
• Additional electricity will be purchased by the host upon request in 50 kWh-unit increments at the guest's expense. Guests will receive a 20-digit electricity token from the host to enter on the prepaid meter keypad.
• A surcharge may apply for excessive electricity consumption.
• Water usage is monitored via monthly billing, and excessive usage charges may be billed after a stay has ended. South Africa is water-scarce, so we encourage conservation.

Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa, is known for its natural beauty and oak-lined avenues, Cape Dutch architecture, history and culture.

The apartment is situated close to main road routes, 35 km from Cape Town International Airport, just 1.2 km from the University of Stellenbosch campus and about 3.5 km from Mediclinic Stellenbosch Hospital. The historic town centre with its museums, galleries, churches, shops and restaurants is 5 minutes away by car. Jonkershoek hiking and mountain biking trails, food markets, botanical gardens and world renowned vineyards and wine estates along the Stellenbosch Wine Route are 10 to 15 minutes away. Stellenbosch is an ideal year-round destination!

You are in a relatively safe neighbourhood, but as with most locations in South Africa, the crime rate in Stellenbosch as a whole is unfortunately up. It is recommended not to walk to town alone, especially at night. Please stay vigilant, and be mindful of your belongings and valuables at all times.
