The host was at the rental on time and gave a quick tour. There was a notebook that had info about the house and town.
Everything was as advertised. All local information and instructions were available in a nice booklet. We did not get to meet Bruce, but did speak with Melody a few times.
Had a very nice stay at Bruce's home the week of (phone number hidden) while in town on business trip. The home is situated in a quiet residential area convenient to many restaurants, coffee shops, and a Publix grocery store. The home is charming and has everything one would need to be comfortable home away from home. I would stay here again.
Bruce's home is absolutely lovely. So lovely, in fact, that driving by, we thought, "That's a charming house!" Only to realize it was the one we had rented! Lucky us. :) Inside it's just as pretty as the outside: a welcoming living room, comfortable bedrooms, bright, clean bathroom, and some of the coolest dining room chairs we've come across. Very clean, good location, and super easy to check in. Bruce was very responsive, getting back to us within hours - if not much sooner - to any contact. The one unfortunate downside was outside of Bruce's control: the wifi was out, and the service provider wasn't able to get out to repair it until after our visit. However, Bruce looked into everything quickly. Overall, we recommend Bruce's lovely home and would love to return if we're headed back to Clearwater.
Great location! The home was exactly as described. Very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will keep Bruce's properties in mind.
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house. The welcome was excellent, full of useful information. The house was so well equipped, while we ate out most evenings, we were able to eat-in in comfort. The neighbourhood was quiet and residential. We were a 5 minute drive from Clearwater beach. Bruce and Melody provided everything you could want for a trip to the beach (towels, cooler etc) we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would most definitely recommend it to friends.
Bruce was very kind, and gave us lots of information about biking in the area. The house is gorgeous, and perfectly restored. It is a historic home, my guess from the 1920's. It has everything you need in it, including lots of kitchen items, knives, martini shakers, a keurig coffee machine, beach chairs and towels, etc etc etc. The house is a few blocks from the Pinellas Trail, a nice ride up to Dunedin or Tarpon Springs for lunch. Highly recommended, we will be back!!

We own a software company specializing in digital dictation and transcription solutions. Our "hobby" has been renovating old homes here in the Magnolia Park neighborhood of Clearwater. We have 4 vacation rental properties that we maintain ourselves.
One of our daughters and her family live 2 doors down from us, with 3 grandchildren that keep us hopping. We love the location - close to downtown Clearwater, yet just a short ride to the beautiful beaches of Clearwater, Indian Rocks and Dunedin (Caladesi Island and Honeymoon Island).
We love to bicycle, boat, swim, and enjoy fun times with our family and friends! We hope you can make it to our special part of the Gulf Coast that we call home...
