Takyo Abeke is located in Omori-cho, a historical town nestled in the hills of IwamiGinzan in Oda City, Shimane Prefecture. Omori-cho prospered as a silver mining town from the 16th to the early 20th century.
It took us 13years to restore this 230year old samurai house, where the whole inn can be reserved starting with one guest.
By staying here, you will be able to experience what it would be like to live in this serene and atmospheric town.
This inn is for private use starting with one guest.

For dinner we serve homestyle cooking which uses seasonal vegetables as well as wild plants that our chef has foraged in the local mountains. We also serve local rockfish known as Nodoguro, Rock Oysters from Okinoshima and much more. The main dish is omusubi or rice balls made from rice cooked with a traditional wood stove. For breakfast, we have rice porridge made in a clay pot, which is accompanied by pickled plum (Umeboshi), local dried fish (Himono), and pickled vegetables (Tsukemono).
