The villa is greatly designed, extremely clean and very suitable for family or group stay. Nelbie and her family took great care of us. The villa also has access to the very beautiful beach near Balinghai.

Nelbie and Del are the best! They were very accommodating and took care of us. The house is amazing, minus the trek to get there, other than that we all loved it!

I came here for a personal getaway, first with a couple of friends then solo, and it was very zen. The walk to the beach isn't bad, it's a unique adventure on that path but only took me about 5 minutes each way. The beach was virtually private, no one there almost the whole time. Magical. The housekeeper was super helpful and cooked amazing meals. The only downside is the construction, which is going on most of the time - it's not disturbingly loud, but certainly affects the peace (I got used to it, and the roosters).

The villa was very well organized with the awesome help of Nelbie (&co). Excellent cook and assistant to arrange transport and local info. I would definately recommend it!

What a beautiful place! My family (mom Dad brother sister sisters boyfriend and uncle) all stayed here! The place was comfortable, cozy, a little away from the chaos- which is exactly what we were looking for. Nelbie was an amazing chef and her helper was so wonderful too. I was in a motorcycle accident before we got there so she was more then accommodating bringing me to the clinic, providing transportation and making sure everything was okay. The food was delicious and the private beach was a treat. What an amazing time! Thank you!

The villa is very nice once you get to it, and the housekeeper is very helpful. The description is not clear on the listing, but you give her money to buy groceries and she can cook whatever you ask for. She is very good with seafood and other Filipino dishes, and also makes up the beds every day and is getting breakfast ready when you wake up, if you have requested it. This is not a good place for anyone who has difficulty with access via only a slippery, irregular path with high and irregular steps. The path to the villa is probably about 70 meters and steep in some areas. The path to the beach is more challenging, with several slippery areas across rocky sections with no handrails. The beach itself is beautiful and uncrowded for the time being - until the hotel net door is completed in 2018 (?). The next door construction is a little ways down the hill and is far enough along that it causes no disturbance. The communication needs improvement - we could not get any response from Mike as our travel dates were getting very near, and I ended up calling Airbnb to see if the reservation was still good or likely to be cancelled. That prompted quicker responses, but the address was never very clear, until well after we had arranged transfers from Kalibo, to the wrong area of Boracay Island! We would highly recommend the myboracayguide company for transfers from Kalibo and tours.

This place was definitely one of my favorite places I've stayed on Airbnb. Although it's a bit off the beaten path to get to, it's well worth it. There were 5 of us comfortably staying there for a wedding at the shangri la which during the day you can walk to by beach. Nelbie is awesome!!!!! She helped our diver find the place, was available at any time we needed her and she made some insane breakfasts for us.
