Description

The space

100 year old red brick terrace house on safe friendly cul de sac in the beautiful village of Sandymount. .Wooden floors, original doors, fireplaces and other features. 2 Double bedrooms, 2 reception rooms (one which can be used as another Double bedroom). 2 bathrooms, one with jacuzzi bath - the other is a recently built extension (all shiny and new).
35 mins from Dublin city centre on foot , 5 mins by bus or Dart (both nearby). Luas tram system is also within walking distance.
Park and Sandymount strand (of James Joyce fame) across the road. There are tennis courts and playground ten minutes walk away. Ten minutes walk from the Point theatre, Aviva stadium and RDS.
You can do some cooking in the fully kitted out kitchen. There is a shop across the road and a quaint village 5mins walk away.
Back garden with patio furniture where you can eat alfresco (when the weather obliges).
There is free onstreet parking outside the front door. I can supply a travel cot and some other nursery equipment if requested. TV, DVD, Wireless Broadband connection, washing machine, dishwasher etc. All mod cons! The hidden extra is the lovely friendly neighbours who will make you really welcome and will help you out with directions, info or anything you might need.

Je parle francais aussi (et Quebecois!)

There is a gym across the road that charges five euros per visit - perfect if you wanted to lift some weights or take a class or use their outdoor running track. Newly built swimming pool 5 mins walk away.

Sandymount is a traditional, old fashioned Irish working village where you'll find bars, restaurants, supermarket, butchers, deli, cafes, boutiques and more... definitely worth a visit.

(Bills not included in price - we'll read the meters at beginning and end of your stay. Max 100 per month but in summer time they are usually much lower).

A quiet and safe house, but not too far from anything. Only 5 minuts walking to the bus stop to go to the centre and to UCD in 20/15 minuts, even if buses are not so frequently (1hour). A comfortable bathroom, and the second one quite small but useful with a shower. The notes left by Norah were very helpful. One of the three bedrooms is quite small for 2 people. However is a very good place where we stayed 30 days without problems. Last notes: it would be useful a clothes dryer, and we would be more happy to find a more clean kitchen at check in.

I am a well traveled person with lots of cultural interests ,I cycle everywhere and love to be outside. I have a large family and lots of friends(home and abroad) so I enjoy making people welcome in my cosy home and will even show you how to make my brown bread!
I have started back studying a Ph D in education in TCD a huge challenge but interesting as well

Just preparing for our final foundations Donna Eden energy workshop , its so effective and works great with the EFT tapping I already work with . Time to start baking , all the guests love some home made bread and short cake !
I live so close by the big office where people "help others look for things" .if you are coming to work there and looking for an apartment ,you can stay here two or three weeks here ,so you can look for the home you really like !i have lots of helpful tips for flat hunting.
The flat in Montpellier is looked after by my friendly and accommodating cousin Laura.
