Large furnished bachelor ( 420 sq.ft ) located at Yonge & College in the College Park complex. College subway station is accessible indoor from within the building. The complex is connected directly to a shopping mall where you can find a gym, banks, post office, 24-hour groceries (Metro) and food courts, etc. These amenities make this location very convenient and very secure with 24-hour security.
The apartment is newly renovated including bathroom and kitchen and hardwood floors throughout, and fully furnished with style. For your comfort, cable TV and wireless hi-speed internet are included.
Linens and towels are provided. The apartment is a 5-minute walk to the Eaton Center (largest shopping complex in Toronto), a few minutes' walk to the financial district and to Ryerson University. Also very close to College west, very trendy area with bars, lounges and restaurants.
Prime location! and nice place to stay. Within walking distance to College station/ Metro Grocery Store. This place is great to stay if you are staying for the weekend, your home away from home.
The apartment is very spartan, but the location is pretty much perfect. I didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment awake, so this suited me very well.
If you are looking for a place to stay and your only requirement is good location, then this is the place to book.
However if you are looking for a place to stay that is a good location and relatively clean, this isn't the place to book. On the same note, it only took me 30 mins to scrub the bathroom and kitchen BUT who wants to pay a cleaning fee to clean the space themselves?
The most unfortunate thing about this apartment is that is have full potential to be a high end rental, but in its current state it is very budget.
A professional cleaning, new linens, new towels (the towel we had in the bathroom was so old you could see through it and was monogrammed for Dr. So&So), a fresh coat of paint, working TV remote controls. Really just spending a couple hundred dollars and this place could easily rent out for $150+.
I did raise concerns regarding the cleanliness and asked for a consideration of refunding the cleaning fee, it was met with arguments from the host. Apparenlty leaving the previous renters dirty linens in the closet where we are supposed to store our clean clothes is "normal".
I booked with Sam the day of and everything was smooth. Extremely convenient location and the room is exactly as advertized. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended.
Me quedaria nuevamente.
Pretty standard place. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay this is a good option.
The place was just as advertised. Airy..view of the fountain...third floor '
safe building...quiet...well located on a busy street Yonge...but in the back so no street noise. The host was prompt in getting me in and settled and nicely flexible on check out time
would recommend it.
What I experienced was a nice alternative to a hotel room. I like having a little apartment and do not miss hotel amenities. This one had a fantastic location close to downtown and nextdoor to the Subway. And the price was right. But this is not luxury.
Sam was very accommodating during a very busy convention week when hotels were fully booked in Toronto. I managed to book the studio on Yonge St. for the first 2 days and share a 2 bed. apt. on Bloor for the 3rd night. Both apts. are well located with the studio having an edge since it's closest to the center. Rooms were clean, as were the bathrooms and beds comfortable. Highly recommended.
