“Listen and watch the river from this private, stylish stand alone guesthouse, overlooking the Nehalem River. Guests rave about this lovely year round, quite, safe, clean, well appointed getaway. Relax in quality linens, a fully appointed kitchen, spacious bath and a separate office/kids room. Explore our 58 acre Ranch, seasonally offering river play, an array of wild and tame animals, herds of elk and birds of prey! Situated next door to the main house with a private entrance & dining patio.

The space
This quiet getaway ranch, offers acres to explore or just sit and listen to the babbling river. Seasonally, we have cattle, elk, owls, deer, raccoon, beavers and many other wildly wonderful creatures and birds to watch. Enjoy meeting our horses, explore the barns and meet our cats or just cozy up in your serene private hideout with a good book. The outdoor seating area offers a private setting next to our shade garden, with a grill. Guests are encouraged to explore and help themselves to the herb & veggie garden and orchard as seasonally available. The guesthouse is fully equipped and appointed with kitchen staples, herbs & spices, cooking oils etc., paper products, cleaning and disinfecting supplies, and basic hygiene products for your convenience. If coffee is your thing, a coffee grinder, French press, pour over, brew pot maker, Keurig coffee maker and coffee grinder are provided.
The guesthouse is set up for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. There is an additional $50. cleaning/ linen fee, per booking for more than 2 persons. Additional adults must be approved.
The sofa is not offered as a bed. Booking Calendar is open 3 months in advance only. If you are interested in booking farther out send request.

Weed Creek Ranch is located 6 minutes from quaint Vernonia, offering antiquing, fun restaurants with seasonal outdoor seating. The CZ Trail & Banks Vernonia Trail are just minutes away, so bring your bikes! Vernonia Lake has trout fishing seasonally and we have a new skate park in town, The Holce Family Skate Park! The Vernonia Golf course is 1/4 mile up the road, so there is lots to do in our own little “River City”! If your hoping for added adventures, the ranch is located an hour from Cannon & Seaside Beaches or an hour to Portland to add other fun attractions to your stay.
