The Space

This space is best suited for two adults and one small child under 12 for the top bunk.
Pool, private terrace and entrance, sleeps three, with kitchenette.

Come experience the Languedoc in our well-allocated apartment, with private bathroom.

Our vine-covered terrace has a table and chairs and furniture to lay out on poolside with a nice glass of wine.

The kitchenette has a microwave, stovetop, and everything you may need to create a fine meal with the products from the local Capestang market, open on Wednesdays and Sundays until 13:00.

In the area we have 2 supermarkets, 2 cafes and 6 restaurants all within walking distance of our home. It makes a great walk through winding paths, past old village homes and our giant 14th century church, all in this traditional French village.

With a separate entrance off the house, you can be as private as you like.

Added features include: a shared pool, TV, DVD player, in room safe and free high-speed WiFi Internet in your room.

This is a brand new rental unit with no detail overlooked to make your stay as comfortable as can be.
We set up your space like a hotel room with a small kitchen, plus a private outdoor area.
Basically you pay for an inexpensive hotel room with the added bonus of an outdoor pool and outdoor space, making this the best deal around!

Make Capestang your stop while travelling through the region or stay with us and enjoy the Canal du Midi and all the outdoor activities near by. We have many suggestions for your stay, as we have just moved here too and are exploring the region as well.

We are motorbike friendly and ride ourselves. We have garage space and parking inside our secured gated grounds. Ride on!

Or ask our delivery boy to run up to the square for you in the mornings during summer vacation. Our 11 year old son provides this service for 1€. He is saving for games on his PlayStation.

For an extra fee we cater hot breakfast of eggs, salamis, cheeses or whatever you fancy.

Don't want to cook or have a special occasion? We can make something especially for you... Anything it truly possible. Champagne arrival, birthday cakes or a special served home cooked meal.

This location is next to our home and separate from our living space.

Interaction with Guests

Alfonz and I are as interactive as you would like us to be. Pointing you in the right direction for a nice walk, historic sites to see in the area or where to go for great food and markets. If we serve your breakfast, either eat with us or eat alone, the option is yours. The apartment is completely separate from us and very private.

The Neighborhood

Our neighbourhood has everything within walking distance; markets, shops, wine, walking trails, cycling trails 'la voie verte', the square.

Local markets Wednesday and Sundays 8:00-13:00
Fresh produce, gifts, local artisan products and the best bakery in the Languedoc; all located directly on our square

Perhaps we watched 'Under the Tuscan Sun' one too many times and got inspired to have our own life changing experience! Our family moved to France from Canada after travelling throughout Europe looking for a new life. We chose this region as it has lots to see and do, with many music festivals, outdoor activities (biking, hiking, walking), wine and castle tours (available on request) and markets to sample the local flavours.
The countryside is breathtaking with rolling hills covered in grapevines. The Mediterranean Sea is a short drive from us with beautiful turquoise water and white sand beaches. There are also fresh water lakes and rivers close to us where the locals dip during the long hot summer months.
The best part of our life is meeting people from around the world, fellow wanderlusts on their own adventures or people moving to the region looking for real estate. In our spare time we discover much of the surrounding areas and would love to share our experiences with you, (far too often over wine.)
Our family has travelled Canada, US, Alaska, Mexico, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK, Cuba and France. Why is the world so big and diverse if we are not meant to explore it?
