Chantal is a great host. She is very helpful and hospitable. She helped us to arrange airport pickup, bike rental, gave a lot of advices which were really helpful. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the villa. It is private territory, calm, nice, comfortable and not far from the beach (though it is better to use a bike to get there). The room is cleaned every day and has everything you need. Be aware of mosquitos and rain season :) Thank you, Chantal!

We were greeted by a driver at the airport who took us straight to the studio. I think this is probably the best way to reach the place because it is tucked away from the main street a bit, therefore tricky to find, and this method eliminates any hassle of finding a reasonably priced taxi from the airport. The room is very comfortable, very clean and modern, with fantastic AC. For two people it is plenty. While it is situated right in the madness that is Legian, the property is very private with a large garden. Once you step through the gate onto the property it is very quiet. We never had an issue with any noise which is incredible. All staff were friendly and we were given the full rundown on the room, property and surrounding area upon arrival, even though it was quite late. More than enough restaurant and shopping options within 5 minutes walk to keep you busy for weeks, and a 10-15 minute walk to the beach through some pretty alleys that are oftentimes busy with scooter traffic. The WiFi was barely usable during most of our stay, but the host was in the process of having it fixed. It was our first time in Bali and we were a little taken back by the frantic pace of things in the area, but after a day or two settled in quite nicely. We felt welcome, comfortable and safe during our stay.

Amazing place, great location, super quiet and immaculate apartment. The host facilitated so many things for me, scooter, driver, etc... Everything about my stay was incredible, the beautiful garden to read in silence, and the very confortable studio. Tips for the people booking the studio, coming from the airport can be a little tricky, ((SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps guided me to a different location) I would advise you to arrange for an airport pick up with the host as it's not that different for the airport price and it will save you a lot of headaches getting to the location

Regia was very welcoming and the place is exactly as described and pictured. The front view is fantastic albeit many many mosquitoes, but in general the whole of Bali was filled with mosquitoes because it was the rainy season. I was very glad there was 24 hour security and good daily cleaning. The furniture was solid, very glad about the kitchen, microwave and fridge. Regia was very helpful in arranging tours for us and letting us know about the places to check out. The internet connection is pretty reasonable considering it's South East Asia, and the bathroom is clean and nicely done. There is big supermarket about 300 meters north up the road, Seminyak is about 1 km walk up the road (much more respectable area), and the main party area of Kuta is a 30 minute walk south. The road to Regia's house is a main road, so it is better lit at night, a distinction my gf and I have found to be quite important in the Kuta-Seminyak area because many of the areas can get dark and scary quickly for wary travellers (we travel plenty, but south Kuta is another level of creepiness) I would recommend letting Regia arrange the transportation to her place from the airport if you're arriving late at night since it can be tricky to find it if you don't know the area. A blue cab taxi to/fro the airport is about (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Rp each way if you know the area exactly. Blue cab taxi to Seminyak about (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Rp with minimal-moderate traffic. Depending on your skin color and spoken language, you may have to pay a different price for non-metered taxis and at different times (more expensive at night when they think you're desperate). The beach is trashy, but still quite scenic and the sand quite soft. If I had to guess, it should cost less than 10,000Rp to take a taxi to the beach (or 10 min walk), but you're likely going to pay 50,000Rp and get ripped off. Non-airbnb related : Mixed drinks tend to be watered down liquor/not the same liquor as the bottle, get a beer can if you want to be extremely sure. General rule, from my gf for ladies to not hold use clutch purses in the area. Get a waist pack/ fanny pack / something more secure and hold it tight or just put it in your pocket. I got my hat snatched from my head while walking back at night, and in a separate incident where a guy tried put his hands in my pocket. The stay was great thanks to Regia, but Bali is not cheap if you look foreign.

Chantal's was really lovely. A mini oasis in the midst of a somewhat bustling part of Bali. It's just enough off the beaten path to feel quiet and tranquil and you don't see or hear mopeds - but all accessible within a couple of minutes on foot. Chantal and her staff are so sweet. Everyone smiling and generous of spirit - they learn your name and use it each time they see you - a special kind of touch. The grounds are lovely, the garden well kept. The studio I stayed in was very clean and tasteful and everyday the bed was remade and folded back and the place swept and tidied which was a nice surprise. And Chantal was helpful with directions and local goings on. I would go back there if I found myself back in that neck of the woods for sure and I recommend it to others. No pool so better for adults than families with small kids, but they hope to build one soon which might make it a little haven for a family.

Simply amazing. The only thing that can match this studio’s comfort and location is the level of attention you get from the host — it feels as if you are staying with your good friends who are taking care of you 24/7. My wife and I totally loved it!
