Casita Emmalia is located I mile north of the University of Arizona in a quiet central Tucson neighborhood. Designed in 1939 by locally renowned architect, Josiah Joesler, this fully furnished studio casita has everything you will need for a relaxing stay. Amenities include a comfy queen size bed, new flat screen tv with cable access, wireless Internet connection, fully stocked kitchen to help prepare delicious meals, remodeled bath with tub/shower, dressing room with ample closet space, and a private flagstone patio with gas BBQ. Off street parking space provided under mature mesquite tree. Relax outside in your private sanctuary complete with a small patch of green grass and enjoy birdwatching from the shade of a century old mesquite tree. We are located just a few blocks from a variety of coffee houses and award winning restaurants if cooking is not in your plans. Bus lines are easy access if you do not plan to have a car while visiiting. Possibility of several bikes to use in our bike friendly city with easy access to bikeways to the university and beyond.

Interaction with Guests
I usually check in guests and remain available to meet their needs. The guest house is situated to give guests complete privacy and I want to respect their privacy.
Our neighborhood is centrally located in Tucson. We are approximately one mile north of the University of Arizona campus. The. Campbell corridor shopping/dining district is just several blocks away and boasts many award winning restaurants within easy walking distance. Sun Tram bus routes go north/south along Campbell Ave and east/west along Grant Rd. Bus stops are two blocks in either direction.
If you are coming by car, you will have one reserved off street parking space in front of the guesthouse.
Come and go as you please....the guesthouse is completely separate from the main house and very private. We ask you let us know if you will be receivin(website hidden) during your stay. The guesthouse has a different address and arrangements need to be made with the local postal carrier.
