Great location and cute place. Perfect for one or two people. Super easy to get to all the great food and coffee on Abbot Kinney and Rose, and there's a Whole Foods up the street. The little front yard area was nice for sitting in the sun and getting some work done. It got a little chilly at night, but there's a space heater (although I never actually turned it on - I just put on a sweatshirt).
We stayed for three nights at the Common Studio Venice and it was really wonderful. The studio looked exactly as it did in the pictures. The location is perfect - very close to Abbot Kinney, Whole Foods, and the beach. We rented bikes and parked our car in front in the street the entire time. The street is quiet and has a nice neighborhood feel. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to any if our friends who are traveling to LA for a relaxing weekend.
Fantastic place! Exactly as described. This was my first ABNB experience and it could not have been better. Nice quiet location. Easy parking. Easy walk to beach and shopping district. Try Gratitude down the street for a healthy vege/vegan meal or make your own with supplies from WholeFoods. Def my new goto place for business trips to the area.
Our stay at this cute little property was great. It is located on a quiet street and street parking was always attainable. It was also convenient to have a CVS and Whole Foods down the street. A standing fan would be a wonderful addition for hot nights but other than that, all good.
My stay in The Common Studio was nothing short of terrific - the location was perfect (convenient, but also quiet and private), the space was beautiful and well-maintained, and the hosts were happy to respond to my questions via text or e-mail. Within walking/biking distance to Abott Kinney & the beach (by foot, a little bit of a hike, but still doable - by car it's quite speedy). The studio itself is equipped with everything you'll need for your trip, and the meticulous design details make it feel like a home away from home. If you're looking to base yourself in Venice for your stay, I really can't recommend this place enough - I'll definitely be back next time I visit!
The Common Studio is totally darling & looks exactly like the photos on the website (let's face it, sometimes that's not the case!) My contact, Karen, explained any queries speedily & professionally & kindly accommodated a later checkout which was hugely appreciated. Please note, this wouldn't always be the case if guests are due to check-in same day as your departure. Abbot Kinney & Rose are right on your doorstep, I spent most of my time there, and for beach dwellers, it's a 20 min walk or short bike ride. Hope this helps?! Enjoy your trip & stay :)
As my first airbnb experience I wasn't sure what to expect. The initial feeling of walking into someone's place can be a little odd at first but we settled in pretty quickly.
Check-in was really easy and we never had a problem parking on the street. We did a lot of driving around so not much time was actually spent in the house. It was a pleasant stay for two people during a weekend. I consider myself to be a light sleeper and I had no problem falling asleep here. Every once in a while we heard the neighbors dog in the morning but I was already up. Just up the street on the corner is a crossfit gym called deuce but we were so busy I never had the chance to do a drop-in. Also on Rose Ave there is a coffee and breakfast place as well as the rose cafe and market which serves amazing poached egg style breakfast among other things.
Overall I was very pleased with my first airbnb stay here.
Cute place! Great location - within walking distance of some great restaurants and shops and close to Abbot Kinney.
Very private. Great outdoor sitting area. Bed on the firmer side but ultimately comfortable. Very convenient, charming, well designed place to land.
Great place, just a few blocks form Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Cozy for sure. And an absolute do over!! Will definitely be booking the studio again.
Very nice place. Cozy and clean, in a great part of venice. Not too noisy but close enough to the action without being in the middle of it. Would recommend it to anyone look for a nice, albeit small, cottage in venice. Hosts were very nice and helpful too!
