The Potting Shed is a newly converted October 2020 bijou woodland hideout for two, on the edge of the Peak District, yet only a 20 minute drive to Sheffield City Centre. The cottage has slate floors throughout and free standing bathtub in the bedroom. The kitchen window and bedroom windows look onto a stunning countryside scene of a tree lined reservoir with excellent walking on the doorstep. Outside is a relaxing seating area, parking. For eating out it is a two minute drive to the Strines Inn.

The space
The Potting Shed is tastefully presented to a high standard with high quality slate floor tiles throughout this bijou hideout, and a clever mix of traditional and contemporary decor. Enter through the door to a sanctuary on the edge of the woodland, relax in the open plan living room and kitchen area with expansive views down to the open countryside and sheffield beyond. The lounge also has a comfy and stylish chesterfield sofa that converts to a sofa bed suitable for a maximum of two children under 12 who stay free of charge. There is a fully fitted dove grey kitchen with combined washer/ dryer, oven, hob, fridge, freezer compartment, all pans, crockery cutlery glassware and utensils necessary to cook for all occupants. The beautiful original brick chimney piece dating back to 1600 provides a beautiful feature in this room. Then a door off this room reveals the master bedroom with period furniture and luxe bed with 600 thread count Egyptian cotton linen and down duvets for ample lie ins during your stay and a roll tap bath within the bedroom. Off the bedroom is the separate cloakroom with wc, basin and heated towel rail. Each of the rooms has its own flatscreen TV and WiFi connection.

Guest access
There is a paved patio for the occupants of The Potting Shed outside the apartment itself and then shared lawns surrounding it.

Other things to note
The postcode is S6 6JH – Important check directions page for more details as postcode does not take you direct to the property. The property is part of a desirable enclave of 3 all owned and managed by the same owner. The properties are accessed via a stony lane, not a problem in a saloon car or larger, but unsuitable for very small cars, however you can always park and walk down the lane which is a steep 5 minute downhill walk off the main road if the car struggles. 2 x parking space on the drive further on street parking over the road. Nearest town is Sheffield (20 minutes by car) or Hathersage (20 minutes by car) Nearest pub is The Strines Inn located on the main road which our lane runs off. There is also Plough Inn at Low Bradfield and the ever popular cafe, The Schoolrooms
