Situated on the R400 dirt road between Jansenville and Somerset East, this cottage is the ideal getaway from the city. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you!

The cottage is pet friendly and self-catering.
There is no WiFi but there is cell reception.

Some activities to keep you busy during your stay on the farm include: fishing, walking, bird viewing and cycling. The cottage is situated next to a dam.

The space
The cottage is situated right next to a dam available for fishing, swimming etc. We supply all towels, linen, drinking water and 2 bags of firewood per night but you should bring your own firefighters. There is an indoor and outdoor braai. There is electricity.

NOT situated in Jansenville town. 60km from Jansenville (including 30km of gravel road).

80km from Somerset East with 70km of dirt road if you are coming from that side.

The cottage is “off the beaten track” and therefore you will need to bring all necessary food with. Drinking water is provided.

Please note. The cottage is not in Jansenville town, it is on a farm 60km outside of Jansenville. Jansenville is our nearest town which is why Airbnb shows this as our address. Please also note that to get to the farm you will need to drive on gravel road, whichever direction you come from, therefore a higher car is better suited for these roads.
