Sunny and bright bedroom with direct access to garden behind it. The room has a queen-sized bed and three huge windows which face east, west and south respectively. The bedroom is on the lower floor of a brownstone, duplex apartment in the residential neighborhood of Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The bathroom is NOT en suite and is shared with one other person. Though there is no A/C, there is an overhead fan which keeps the temperature in the room during the summer quite comfortable. The apartment has a chef's kitchen which you are free to use. Fiber-optic Wi-Fi is available. There is a French coffee shop called Choice on the corner which is pricey but very good, where you can get your morning cup or breakfast or lunch or dinner. There are also many restaurants in the neighborhood, many of which are located on DeKalb Ave and Myrtle Ave. The apartment is 40 mins from Times Square, 30 minutes from Greenwich Village/NYU and is very close to Prospect Park, The Brooklyn Museum, Pratt, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, the new Barclays Stadium, The Brooklyn Flea, Fort Greene and Williamsburg. The apartment is also along the route for the NYC Marathon. Parking is available on the street or in lots in the neighborhood. G-train to Clinton/Washington

Host was not the most friendly fellow. But I had no complaints with the unit and price.
It was a great stay at Waldemar's home. Best part was that he was very flexible and helpful despite our late night flight times and always available for help or questions. The room was nice and we were well attended. We would like to stay at his place again when we visit nyc.
Waldemar was very helpfull and accomodating. Its very convenient with the metro nearby to go into manhatten. Store and a coffeeshop just around the corner.
Description of room was accurate and location was convenient. Everything was fairly clean, would stay again!
The listing was accurate and Waldemar was very hospitable and courteous. The room was cozy and, while it was a tad cold, it was nearly zero degrees outside, so that's completely understandable. I'd happily stay here again.
Waldemar was not home when we arrived but we were able to contact him for check-in instructions. The room was as shown, pleasant, just a touch chilly but there was a wonderful space heater. It was of course very snowy while we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the garden, but the windows and natural lighting were nice. The kitchen and bath areas were shared but we were still made welcome to put things in the fridge or on the shelves. The neighborhood was very nice. There was convenient free parking, a very nice coffee shop and doughnut shop within walking distance (Choice Market and Dough), and the people in the neighborhood were friendly.
