About This Listing
Sunny and bright bedroom with direct access to garden behind it. The room has a queen-sized bed and three huge windows which face east, west and south respectively. The bedroom is on the lower floor of a brownstone, duplex apartment in the residential neighborhood of Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The bathroom is NOT en suite and is shared with one other person. Though there is no A/C, there is an overhead fan which keeps the temperature in the room during the summer quite comfortable. The apartment has a chef's kitchen which you are free to use. Fiber-optic Wi-Fi is available. There is a French coffee shop called Choice on the corner which is pricey but very good, where you can get your morning cup or breakfast or lunch or dinner. There are also many restaurants in the neighborhood, many of which are located on DeKalb Ave and Myrtle Ave. The apartment is 40 mins from Times Square, 30 minutes from Greenwich Village/NYU and is very close to Prospect Park, The Brooklyn Museum, Pratt, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, the new Barclays Stadium, The Brooklyn Flea, Fort Greene and Williamsburg. The apartment is also along the route for the NYC Marathon. Parking is available on the street or in lots in the neighborhood. G-train to Clinton/Washington

G-train or A/C-train to Clinton/Washington. The G-train is closer
Our host was incredibly flexible in being able to check us in. We arrived very late at night after attending a broadway play. Our room and the home met our expectations. The location was great. Easy access to the metro, grocery and coffee shop. We were able to easily find parking.
Waldemar's apartment is well-located in Clinton Hill, close to the G and C trains and within walking distance to Prospect Park and lots of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The guest room is quiet, tidy and well-lit, with direct access to a garden/outdoor place in the back.
Waldemar spends a good portion of his time at home (he was there often during the day and night when I stayed), so you should feel comfortable sharing the living room and bathroom if staying at Waldemar's. There is also a strong cat odor in the living area, so just a heads up.
Overall, reasonably priced, cozy apartment in a cool area of Brooklyn.
The place is pretty much what it is on the pictures. We shared the house with Waldemar and his cat and we had free access to the kitchen. Waldemar was helpful and he did not mind that we had to wake up early to catch our flights.
Waldemar (with his adorable kitty) was very welcoming and an excellent host. The room is lovely, the neighborhood is great, and the apartment is just a minute or two from the train, which couldn't be more convenient. We had a great experience with Waldemar and would highly recommend this listing!
It was a great stay at Waldemar's home. Best part was that he was very flexible and helpful despite our late night flight times and always available for help or questions. The room was nice and we were well attended. We would like to stay at his place again when we visit nyc.
