This is the most amazing view in all of Mackinaw City! Our location is great, centrally located near downtown. We are walking distance to main street and all that it has to offer. Great for a family looking to ski or go dog sledding. Lots of winter fun! Lockbox entry, so no contact. You can literally park your car and never use it again.

The space
Our beautiful eclectic cottage is 1400+ sqft and sleeps 4 adults and 3 kids or 6 adults comfortably, offering 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 room with 2 twin beds. You will have the whole house except the unfinished basement, which will stay locked. It is located in the village on the water with a beautiful sandy beach, views of the bridge, and Mackinac Island. You can sit back with a cup of coffee and watch the freighters go by, or sit back with your choice of beverage and watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. Our home is cozy and comfortable. It is walking distance to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, Shepler's Ferry Line and all the cute shops in town. The cottage is a perfect location for all that Northern Michigan has to offer with bike trails, swimming, golfing, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, skiing, sand dunes, fishing, and parasailing. You can see the yacht races from the living room windows along with the fireworks every Friday night. We are kid friendly and pet friendly. We look forward to sharing our home and our views. Our neighborhood is safe and great for walking. We have a playground 2 blocks away for the children. The bike trail is a block away, along with the snowmobile trails. Nubs Nob and Boyne Mountain are 45 min drive and along that drive on US 31 you will see all the antique stores. You can also cross the bridge and go to the Taquamenon Falls. You can take a day trip and go see Lake Superior and the beautiful cliffs. So much to do and see, but so little time. "PURE MICHIGAN"!!

Hi, My husband and I met in North Carolina 10 years ago where I was working as a Hair Stylist in Raleigh, and he was stationed with the Army at Fort Bragg. We have 2 beautiful kids that are 3 and 5. We have moved around with the Army a lot and now we are coming to the end of his Army career. Cloud 9 is our Northern Michigan cottage. We decided to buy our retirement home in Mackinaw City because I grew up in Cheboygan. With growing up in Northern Michigan, I knew that I wanted to own a home on a lake. I had no idea it would be on Lake Huron. I love the idea of my kids growing up with their cousins and having vacation at the cottage.
