House rules
This place isn’t suitable for children under 12 and the host doesn’t allow pets, parties, or smoking.
Sleeping in the trees is the best way to describe this comfy cozy little treehouse. Only 15 minutes from downtown AVL, this new addition to Odd Bits Hemp Farm is a unique way to stay. Welcome!

It's a tiny house in the trees. It's your childhood treehouse taken to the next level. Cross the hanging bridge to a weekend in the trees, 15 minutes to downtown, 7 minutes to West Asheville and all there is, 1 hour or less to waterfalls, welcome to West Asheville... Glamping at its finest.

The space
Small studio type apartment/tiny house in the trees, with a futon sofa bed downstairs and a full sized bed in the loft. Kitchenette for basic meals, has small fridge, toaster, hotplates, kettle...the sink has running cold water.

Has heat and air conditioning, compost toilet and small sink with running water. The outdoor hot water shower is across the bridge.

If you're afraid of heights, this may not be your favorite place, unless you're here to overcome it...

Welcome to the Treehouse at the Farm!

Guest access
You have the treehouse to youself.
You can walk down to the pool, please let us know when you would like to use it in advance. We share the pool with the yurt guests as well as with Sarah's water therapy sessions.

UPDATE: POOL IS NOW OPEN. SPRING IS UPON US! (must sign waiver)

NOTE: AWD vehicle highly recommended to access treehouse due to steep driveway. Update: Driveway was recently improved, access is better...still need to pick up speed at bottom to reach top.

Other things to note
There is a designated parking spot up the driveway, then a short walk in to reach the Treehouse, Note: Driveway is a bit steep, you can gather a little speed at the bottom to reach the top in a normal car, an AWD is recommended. Otherwise, you can park at the bottom and we can either help you check-in or you can walk up to the treehouse, map provided. We are located off a gravel road.

Note: You must cross hanging bridge to reach the Treehouse, it's part of the (soft) adventure.

Watch your head as you climb up ladder to loft space and once above be aware of the edges and low ceiling.

Important: Please be careful on outside balconies, we are high up, your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority.

Outdoor shower is a short walk from Treehouse, be sure to bring headlamp and flip flops for best results. A bathrobe during autumn/winter is a good idea too. Also, watch your step while going or coming from shower, stone steps may become loose.

Please use compost toilet sitting down only. Guys can go sprinkle outside if you don’t want to sit...

Housekeeping is on Mondays and between guests. If you're staying with us for over a week, let us know if you'd like to have housekeeping.

Our house is not far away, we cannot see you but you may see us coming in or out sometimes. This is while the bamboo fence grows...

There is a small remote control for the heater/air conditioner. Let us know if you need help operating it.

Our family bought 9 acres in West Asheville we're developing as a food, hemp farm, wellness and tourism destination. We're at the end of our road that leads to more than 350 acres of forest at the foot of Spivey Mountain. Fantastic location near all that Asheville has to offer: restaurants, hikes, breweries, waterfalls, fun! or just stay here and relax... Check out our AVL guidebook: https://www.airbnb.com/manage-guidebook?s=listing_details We're planning to offer food events, add meals to our offerings for our guests. Also, Sarah, my wife, is a massage and watsu therapist. We'll be offering her services soon. We make chocolate and will offer chocolate/cacao experiences as well. Steve is a Real Estate Broker at Keller Williams Pofessionals in Asheville and can help you find your mountain dream home and investment property in the Blue Ridge Mountain... Welcome to Odd Bits Farm. We also own a 100 acre farm in Ecuador, full of cacao, fruit, waterfalls, beauty!
