The Mt Rose Cabin is a 1 bedroom 1 bath 1955 year build homestead in Reno, NV located on 2.5 private acres just 15 min from Mt Rose Ski Resort and 30 min from Tahoe. This home was designed as a retreat from daily life where you can relax, recharge, & refocus. Truly enjoy all four seasons in this completely renovated 50s tiny cabin for the modern traveler. Mountain modern amenities adorn this quaint cabin.

Guest access
The guests have access to the cabin. There is no access to the garage. The owner stores recreational vehicles on the property that are not available for renter use. Cameras are monitored on the exterior due to the remote location. For those messaging me, “do I really need 4 x 4 in the winter?” I am not a weatherman, but 3-4 times a year we get several feet of snow. Please see the photos at the end of the listing. The cabin is on a dirt road that is difficult to plow. Yes, 4x4 is needed.

This cabin has the perfect location, just below the heavy snow line and above the city, we are close to all of the happenings in Reno while still getting to enjoy country life.

This house has old plumbing and has a septic system. PLEASE do not flush anything other than toilet paper.
