The Whispering Pines cabin is located in a very private area. If you are looking for privacy look not further. It sets among a grove of hemlock trees and less than a hundred feet from a high cliff line and a waterfall. During rainy times you can hear the waterfall while you are setting on the porch.

The space
The Whispering Pines cabin is our third cabin that we have built. It is located in a VERY PRIVATE wooded area. It is built with a mixture of very rustic and modern materials. It has a live edge counter to have your meals at plus a coffee table made from the same material. We harvested the tree from the our farm these items are made from. The kitchen has a electric two burner stove NO OVEN. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are built from lumber harvested from a 100 year old barn here on the farm. The headboard to the bed, all the trim and bathroom door in the cabin are also made from the old barn lumber. We also have used old corrugated metal to cover the ceilings in the kitchen, bathroom and porch plus as under pinning around the cabin. The setting, bedroom and kitchen/dining are open to each other. The cabin offers a covered porch to enjoy. You may have read previous reviews about the steep hill that guest have had trouble getting back up. The hill has been paved so any vehicle should be able to get up it with no trouble. But, four wheel drive will be required during the winter if it snows or if it has ice on it. You can check the photos showing that the hill is paved. We do not give refunds because of the weather unless the roads are closed in this area. Also we don't give refunds if for some reason the utilities go out.
