Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • My experience was not so good, to begin with.

When I arrived, I had mentioned Wi-Fi was extremly important for me. But it was not working. And after a long long time, the people transferred me to a upper room.

I found out that the hosts (except one) did not speak English, even basic English.

My experience with at least 3 persons within the SPA was that they were quite rude, even agressive, because I did not speak basic corean.

Also, the SPA is a commercial entity (I even found it on booking) : there is no personalized relationship with the guests, as I had hoped, and as I am having now.
To me, it has nothing to do on AIRBNB. It's just an hotel...

This being said, I have to admit that the price is quite cheap. That's probably why, they'll keep on getting customers.

I also like to point out that the SPA is free and open 24 hours, which is quite nice to enjoy.

  • Nice place

  • Amazing value. This is simply the least expensive place to stay in Seoul with a private room. The spa was clean and free from typical smells, and the room was surprisingly nice. I highly recommend this place and will stay a few nights on every visit to Korea.

  • I stayed at Natural SPA with my boyfriend Martin. We have read a lot of refferences, so we knew, what to expect and everything was well for us. There was no problem at the check in and we were instructed to go to our room at the 2nd. floor. We hat to go through ladies' and mens' lockers respectively and meet at the second floor. Other floors of the SPA were not separated. The room was tiny, quiet, clean, with no window just a ventilator into the corridor. However it was May, so we were comfortable enough. The SPA is rundown and not so clean, but generally OK. The place is easy to find.

  • I can not accurately rate Itaewon Land as I was unable to stay there. The description of Itaewon Land led me to beleive that it was a host home providing a room/ guest area. I was traveling with 2 others, a male and a female and had booked one room to share. Well, Itaewon Land turned out to be a jimjabong. This was not going to work ,obviously, as the rooms are segregated by gender. Naturally. I had to cancel my reservation and find other lodging. They were very understanding towards me, though, and said they would refund the money back to Air BNB. So, my main issue with Itaewon Land is in the way they presented themselves in the profile. They are not a host family, but a jimjabong!!

  • Staying at Itaewon Spa meant free access to the amenities of the jimjilbang which was an added bonus. I only stayed here for one night and it was a pleasant stay. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a room to stay in on a budget.

  • Overall, I'm quite satisfied. It is definitely a good value for the money. It is quite closely located to the subway Itaewon station and its downtown area. A grocery store is near the station as well. You will encounter a lot of non-Koreans in this area since it is known for an area for foreigners in Korea. The room was well prepared and the staff was helpful. There are quite some amount of stairs involved to get to this place. So if you have a lot of luggage, you need to be prepared. The good thing is you can use amenities in this facility - spa, sauna- for free any time you want. It seems to be 24h open. Snack bar and restaurant also seem to be open 24h as well. I would recommend their Sik-hae, a Korean sweet rice beverage and smoked eggs, 3 for 2000won. You pay with your key and settle it later at the front desk.

One thing I think a bit missing was the thickness of blanket, which was quite thin in my case (room number 1) and I didn't feel warm when I sleep even with extra blanket. Also it would be great if travelers were allowed to use their washing machine because there is no coin laundry around the area-probably 2-3km radius-so I had to travel quite far to wash my clothes. Other than that, this was a great place to stay! I would definitely consider coming back for the future in my trip!
