We have one fully-equipped suite, you get the whole magnificent place to yourself.
Beautiful panoramic mountain views and conveniently located two minutes from the beach and the village of Cambria and ten minutes from world-famous Hearst Castle.
The single word that is most often uttered by guests as they lay eyes on Victoria's Last Resort is...WOW!...often multiple wows.
The highlight is the food...this place is visually spectacular...but the food is even better. The menu is merely a suggestion, this chef enjoys a challenge and special requests, but don't worry...the regular menu options are delicious!
It is fun and whimsical, but really comfortable and classy. It is sexy and stylish while remaining cozy and restful. It helps to read the reviews because really, how often do you read that kind of a review?
It is a little oasis. Everything is close enough to get to and far enough not to be bothered by. Your hosts are accessible but not intrusive and you will feel like you have the place all to your self.
it is the kind of town you need a car in, but this is the world's most beautiful driving road so most people are in cars. Here, you have off-street parking in a safe and sheltered spot right near your door. Perfect for those collectible cars and precious bikes.
You will never ever find another spot like this. The creative genius that is Victoria has managed to carve a perfect niche into an otherwise traditional coastal village. There is nothing quite like it and your experience is priceless.
Maximize your relaxation factor in this inspirational uplifting playhouse for grownups.
The entire yard, gardens, decks, private patio, and self-contained suite with full kitchen, fireplace, and it's own entrance and parking.
Interaction with Guests
That is up to the guest...we are here if you want or need something, but we stay out of your way.
Quiet, residential area with no close neighbors to disrupt your stay.
Best to have a car when in Cambria, it is a bit far from place to place.
Other Things to Note
We are also known as Victoria's Last Resort if you would like to read other reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor.
Not many rules here. We are experiencing a drought so we ask that guests are respectful about conserving water during their stay. You have your own private suite and there is a full stereo that is fine to play anytime of the day. We also have a large hot tub on the outdoor deck that is open 24 hours a day...just be considerate of the neighbors. Our rules are pretty simple. Please have a great time, call us if you need anything at all, we are always around when we have a guest. And in the morning when you are ready for your fabulous brunch, you just call us and place an order. We have a suggested menu that you can mix and match into your perfect breakfast served at the perfect time. You have a full coffee and tea setup in your suite if you need a little jolt to start the morning.
We loved this place! The bed is super comfy, the accommodations are out of this world! It was peaceful, serene, and a visual delight. The shower is an amazing work of art. It is very private and quiet. We enjoyed the views from the bedroom and the hot tub in the evening. We were greeted by chocolate dipped strawberries and home made pastries (the owner is a pastry chef) in the evening when we returned from dinner. What a treat! The hosts are wonderful people and we hope to come back again!! Loved it!
I am the chef/owner and this is a small private Bed & Brunch. We cater to your special requests and we have just one guest suite for complete privacy and special attention. We have great yelp reviews and are new to this airbnb thing. So...check us out on yelp to see what our guests say about us.
I think the main things we want to do are to give you great food and provide a warm and delightful place to stay for a while. We give you your privacy, but we are always available if you need something or have a question or just feel like chatting a bit. Cambria is a special little town and we can help you tailor your experience to what suits your the best. Wine tasting to hiking, we will guide you to the local sweet spots.
I sort of quit traveling when I moved to Cambria. I have traveled to Europe a few times, and spent several months working at a B&B in England (loved it!!). I discovered I really like being the host. I have a varied and eclectic career history and have done everything from fashion buyer to pastry chef to wardrobe stylist and costume designer. There have been a few other random things that all fell into place leading me to be an innkeeper. I am the resident artist and I really made it a different style of B&B. Fun and unusual colors and styles. Lots of garden spots to read or watch the many birds play in the birdbaths and trees. Quiet room that can be darkened so you can really sleep. Everyone sleeps better here! Bed is super comfy and since you call us to order breakfast, you can just sleep all you want! Bed and BRUNCH. No early wake up nonsense...unless that is what you want! Whatever works for you, works for us. Flexible times on everything. We are easy about the details.
My life motto is simple. Enjoy life. Every minute, every experience. Roll with it!
