Here at Finca Neblina you will experience living at the fringe of civilization, off-grid, and surrounded by nature. The Osa Peninsula is home to the greatest biodiversity in the known universe, and respect for nature is the number one priority on my farm. We embrace permaculture concepts and appreciate a life less luxurious amongst the daily joys of organic farming. When you need an adventure, Corcovado National Park and the Golfo Dulce are both within walking distance from your cozy bedroom.

The space
My quirky home is an authentic Tico farmhouse and is extremely rustic. Perched upon a ridge, you will enjoy the breezes that sweep over the mountains of the Osa Peninsula while gazing the valleys below and the Costa Rica mainland in the distance. Scarlett macaws, howler monkeys, and frogs permeate the sound waves. The occasional earthquake will awaken your senses. Nature is abundant!

Guest access
Everything except my bedroom is accessible.

Other things to note
For your comfort, I highly recommend rubber boots and an umbrella while staying at Finca Neblina. In conjunction with an intense tropical sun, torrential downpours can happen any time, and without much warning. It is important to safeguard your valuables from the imminent moisture of the tropical rainforest. You must also take extra precaution not to leave out food that may be eaten by a number of different critters, including me!

    During your stay
Although I am usually busy working on my farm, I hope to interact with my guests as much as possible. If you are interested in organic farming and you'd like to assist me with my projects, we can discuss a discounted rate before you arrive. Otherwise, I encourage all guests to be inquisitive and absorb the off-grid, organic farming experience in the Costa Rican tropical rainforest. If you only want to relax, by all means... Relax! If you need anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, I always do my best to accommodate.
