Me and my boyfriend stayed at Sara and Matthew's place for 3 nights. When we arrived we received warm welcome. The room was very cosy with an amazing view of the sea. The room also had a mini fridge, a laptop to use and tea and coffee facilities which came very handy after a long day of hiking. Grange over Sands is a beautiful city, very near to Windermere lake. Both Sara and Matthew are very nice people and we will definitely come back if we visit Lake District again.
Sara and Mathew were wonderful hosts.. We really enjoyed Sara's company and absolutely loved Grange-over-Sands! It is such a lovely pretty place to relax and so easy to get to the Lake District too! Thank you Sara for recommending Arnside... what a lovely sunny day we had there! Lots of love to all of you! And to Suki too :) - Priya and Bini
Great base to explore the Lake District. Sara and Matthew were very welcoming and gave some great suggestions on walks/spots to eat in the area. We had the best coffee at Chesters on the River as recommended by Sara! The private room was very warm and the great shower a bonus.
Matt and Sara were the perfect hosts and so much more. They emailed to make sure they knew when we were arriving so everything was ready, met us on arrival, took time to chat and give us some local info and even offered us a lift to a nearby venue where we were to attend a wedding. Sara even produced a map (here's one I made earlier) to show us some great locations for walking ... which we took her up on, incidentally, and had a great walk up near Windemere. The bottle of wine in the room, great breakfast, brought to the table in the morning, chats and cups of tea and warm atmosphere made for an absolutely brilliant stay. Thank you both !
We really had two good days at Sara and Matthew's home. They are really nice people, offered us information about visiting, prepared fabulous breakfast and also drove us to the station. The goods in their room are available in all varieties which made our trip comfortable. They have a shy lovely dog!! However, she always ran away when I wanted to touch her... Besides, "Grange over sands" is also a beautiful quiet small town itself, you really need go there to have a visit!
We stayed in Sara and Matthews Bnb for 3 nights and LOVED it! The room is amazing. It really is your own little home with separate entrance, lovely facilities, perfectly clean, and very cozy. Sara & Matthew made us feel very welcome by leaving some treats for us upon arrival. There is a small bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, as well as the lovely breakfast every morning. The Lakes District was just gorgeous- including the view from the house- and we honestly wish we had stayed longer. This was our perfect Air Bnb experience- thank you Sara & Matthew!
Had a great time staying at Matthew and Sara's. Beautiful setting, clean and warm room and a wonderful breakfast. They are both very accommodating and provide a great place to explore what the Lake District has to offer!
