We really had two good days at Sara and Matthew's home. They are really nice people, offered us information about visiting, prepared fabulous breakfast and also drove us to the station. The goods in their room are available in all varieties which made our trip comfortable. They have a shy lovely dog!! However, she always ran away when I wanted to touch her... Besides, "Grange over sands" is also a beautiful quiet small town itself, you really need go there to have a visit!
We stayed in Sara and Matthews Bnb for 3 nights and LOVED it! The room is amazing. It really is your own little home with separate entrance, lovely facilities, perfectly clean, and very cozy. Sara & Matthew made us feel very welcome by leaving some treats for us upon arrival. There is a small bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, as well as the lovely breakfast every morning. The Lakes District was just gorgeous- including the view from the house- and we honestly wish we had stayed longer. This was our perfect Air Bnb experience- thank you Sara & Matthew!
Had a great time staying at Matthew and Sara's. Beautiful setting, clean and warm room and a wonderful breakfast. They are both very accommodating and provide a great place to explore what the Lake District has to offer!
Absolutely lovely place to stay in Grange-over-Sands. We'd echo all the other very positive reviews - it's a very nicely appointed room that is truly separate from the house. You can come and go as you please, but Sara and Matthew are always available to help with anything you need. It's a good base from which to explore the area - just 4 minutes drive to Cartmel, and 20 minutes to Bowness. We'd highly recommend it.
We had a great stay here. Sara and Matthew were very friendly and helpful, recommending places to visit and eat. We had our own private room with ensuite, with a separate entrance from the main house. We had access to a computer, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The shower is amazing - perfect pressure, just what we needed after a big day exploring lakes district. Breakfast is perfect too - not too heavy, not too light.
We had a lovely time staying with Sara and Matthew. The room was lovely and had everything we needed for our short stay, including walking leaflets and a mini-fridge (great for chilling our beers!). They also kindly provided a laptop. View from the back garden is stunning over the bay and it's just a shame it was so cold otherwise we would have spent more time out there! Sara and Matthew were both really friendly and offered to help us with ideas of things to do and walks. Breakfast was lovely with fresh coffee, orange juice and croissants set us up for the day. Would definitely recommend.
