This was my first experience with airbnb. There was a minor glitch with the website that initially showed my booking as rejected, when in fact it was accepted. So I had to book it again to iniate the proper handling.
The accomodations were quite nice in a lovely neighborhood and our hosts were great, very cordial, friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay there again.
Renee and Tony were wonderful hosts, and made us feel at home and welcomed. They ordered Chinese Food for our arrival, and joined us for a wonderful meal. Renee was responsive to my questions, and the whole process was a delight. (and new to us). The town was beautiful, their gardens quite lovely, and their home was warm and comfortable.
About the Host, Renee
Middle aged married couple with musician son. I run my own consulting business and my husband is a professor. We have been world travelers and enjoy meeting new people. I was born in the United Kingdom and have lived and worked in Paris, London and Mexico City. We like travelling, music, our dogs, and just about anything "cultural".
I love to read anything by Indian authors and my husband is more classic in taste. We love old movies and come to think of it really good new movies - more Indies than blockbusters.
My life motto would be anything said by Ghandi and the Buddha.
