  • Lorraine was so welcoming and had great tips about the area and London in general. The location is great for accessing either central London or Heathrow if you're comfortable with taking a bus. There are several routes that all run to the Piccadilly and District lines and it's easy to navigate. A really nice area to stay!

  • Great place to stay! Lorraine was very nice and everytime up for a cup of coffe or tea :) the room is small but it has all comfort you need. Unfortunately there was a problem with the downstairs shower room, but Lorraine had me use the upstairs bathroom (which normally goes with the twin-room) so it was fine with me!
Her house is the perfect location to explore London - just a few minutes to Hammersmith station and the picadilly line takes you right into the city.
I'll definitely stay there next time I'm in the city if she's available!

  • Lorraine was a great host. Knowing that my17 year old daughter was alone, she took the trouble to drive her to the supermarket to shop for her needs & even took my many calls asking after my daughter's well being as my gal did not have a local line. My gal luvs the room & her kind hospitality. I will definitely recommend anyone looking for cozy accommodation to stay with her. Thank u v much Lorraine! Looking forward to staying at yr place should I visit London again.

  • Lorraine was very welcoming and so was the rest of her family, including her young grandsons, so that I did not feel that I was intruding. The room was lovely and warm and the bed very comfortable which enabled me to have a good night's sleep. Lorraine's directions to her home were perfect, so no chance of getting lost. If my son has not finished renovating his home by my next visit I hope to stay with Lorraine again.

  • I stayed at Lorraine's house for a week and I had a very pleasant time. Lorraine lives in a typical British house located in a very quiet and safe area. Although it's a pretty long ride from Central London the house is very easily accessible by bus from the Hammersmith tube station. The room I stayed in was very tiny, with not a lot of storage space but otherwise tidy and cosy. It is located upstairs, with a small shared bathroom downstairs. Lorraine was extremely helpful and accommodated my request to stay at her place very rapidly and she awaited me with an apple from her garden and even shared a home-made cake with me. If you have any questions about the City she can be an excellent source of information. Lorraine has a rather unique life story so it is a true pleasure to have conversations with her, which can spread late into the night, as she is a genuine night-owl and often stays up until 3am. For me the only downside was that I found the bed too soft, although others might prefer that. Overall, I had a very good experience.

  • Lorraine is a strong woman with a very generous heart. Her house is in a great location and the house rules are very clear which makes it very easy to live there. The room is clean and comfortable and has some lovely touches wih make it very welcoming. It was exactly what I needed and I would gladly stay there again and recommend it to others. I hope to see Lorraine again some day.

  • I had a fantastic stay! The room is big enough for one person and has lots of storage space. Nice hot shower. Lorraine was very nice and the house is very well connected by public transport. Everything was clean and ready for my arrival.
    Thanks a lot!
