The room was not as we expected it to be. The location was fine and the kitchen, shower, and washroom were satisfactory. But the space we stayed in was very small for four people; two of us had to sleep on the floor when we thought we would all have our own beds. We though we were getting the "Presidential" room, when we got the "Brazil" room again which was very very small.
Four of us stayed here. Experience was underwhelming. We had a queen-sized bed and mattresses for the other two people. Mattresses were actually more comfortable than the bed, they had sheets and blankets. The room is pretty barebones, doesn't really look like it does in the pictures, so be prepared for the worst as to not be disappointed :) Good value for your money but if you don't want to stay in a place that's like a hostel, which we didn't realize it would be like, this place probably isn't for you.
It is on the third floor so you need to be able to walk your luggage to the top floor.
Shower is in a tiny room, bring flip flops, and you have to buy towels (!) which are kind of hard to find in a store (this was a big deal as we never did find towels, just dish towels in a random store). My friends complained that the shower was scolding hot, I had a hot shower that was to my liking but with periods of cold water so I had to shut off water every couple of minutes. The faucet in the bathroom was separated into hot and cold water and the hot water faucet didn't work very well. There were only three outlets in our Brazil room and they weren't all fully functional.
Bus stop was literally right in front of the door you walk out of to go outside. Bus 21 takes you to London Bridge (25 mins). Overground was about 7 mins walking distance.
There is a separate lock for your room so your stuff is safe from other guests. There were shops and bars nearby. We didn't use them but they're there :)
I did not meet my host during the four day stay. The post description was deceptive in that I thought I was staying in a private home, but it turned out to be four rooms that are rented separately (and the four rooms are part of an apartment building) and the host is not on site. This listing is in Zone 2 and in a working class part of London.
All in all, a very pleasant stay. The room was cleaned up by the time the host said it would be, the toilets and the shower were clean as well and the provided blankets, pillows and the beds in general were absolutely sufficient. Getting into the property was no problem at all and there was a bus stop right at the front door, getting into central London took about 15 minutes. Summed up, a pretty nice experience for the price.
The location was alright. There were adequate blankets and pillows and I liked the kitchen and other amenities. There was a party downstairs that lasted until about 4am and was disruptive. In the end, you get what you pay for with this listing.
the house is in a good position , very near to the overground station.
Actually we found some problems with bathroom, since the presence of a lot of people made the use of the bath a little difficult.
Another problem was the fact that there was only one socket in our room...and no sockets in the bath.
leaving these small problems , we had good time!

About the Host, Sidney
I'm from the UK, a Cambridge Graduate. Usted to work for an investment bank, but now I work mainly with property. In 2012 we started to list some properties on here. I have always been proud to see people satisfied with my actions and my aim with the properties I have on airbnb is to give service and value.
In terms of being a guest I always treat your property as if it were my own - I believe in clean living. I am sociable and can talk a lot, in fact sometimes too much! At this stage in my life I do like some level of comfort, but it does not have to be extravagance.
My life motto: No matter what happens I'll be singing, dancing and praising the good Lord!
