Bibis: Cute. Girls especially love it. Great for breakfast. Lombard Street, about 8 minutes away in Portobello.
Queen of Tarts, Cow's Lane: Great carrot cake, mismatched china, outside area. Craft market on Saturday.
Places I like to eat nearby:
Nede: modern Irish food with a twist. Chefs from the famous Noma restaurant in Copenhagen. Great Early Bird. Love the fish. Lunch special for Euro 15 including a glass of wine!
Odessa: restaurant and club. Love brunch, especially Smoked Chicken Quesadillas and Bloody Mary's. Strong coffee, lively atmosphere.
Crackbird: trendy fried (and grilled) chicken. Love the burnt lemon feta dip and homemade soft drinks.
Ciao Bella Roma: Italian pizzeria and trattoria. Great lunch and early bird deals. Serves pizza until very late Friday and Saturday.
The WInding Stair: modern Irish food. Great for seafood.
Joburger: best burgers and sweet potato fries. Cool outside area opposite Grogans (great pub with a mix of ould codgers and trendies and full-on nutters). Castle Market, between Georges Street and The Powerscourt Townhouse Centre.
Toffoli: Castle Street. Small but perfectly formed gourmet pizza joint.
The Bull and Castle: Great for steak. Opposite Christchurch.
Burdocks: Fish and chips, allegedly the best in the world!

No Name/ Kellys: Trendyish (or at least it was). Lovely space. Fade Street (off Georges Street).
Hogans: Classic studenty haunt.
The Long Hall: a classic Dublin pub.
The Stag's Head: another classic Dublin pub. Go on Friday and you may catch trad music session downstairs..
Grogans: always busy, great for people watching. Art for sale on the walls. Sit outside all year round.
Fallon & Byrne's winebar: great wine selection. Charcuterie and cheese etc. In the basement so you can find yourself forgetting obligations and ordering another lovely malbec or albarino :).
This listing is for full use of the apartment: livingroom, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, plus balcony with view on to the park.
Interaction with Guests
I usually meet with guests, if I am at work I will arrange for someone familiar with the apartment and Dublin to meet with you. I am contactable by Airbnb message, phone, email or text. I very much enjoy interacting with guests. Where there is a problem with the listing, I am a firm believer that 'quickest shared, soonest mended.'
It is in the heart of the city centre. You can walk anywhere you want to be in a matter of minutes. I love the location, and the atmosphere in the heart of old Dublin. There are lots of great pubs, restaurants and cafes, Francis St (the antiques district), St Patrick's Cathedral and park (love to hear the bells). It is very safe.
You will not need public transport in the city centre. If you wish to go further afield, bus, train and tram are nearby. You can jog/walk/run/bike along the canal or in the Phoenix Park.
Other Things to Note

The apartment was great! Good location, easy to get around. Daragh was very helpful in pointing out places of interest! We do wish there had been a dryer, but all in all we had a great time!
The apartment was just as expected. Great location close to everything but off the main streets so you could get a way from the fast past tourists as well. Daragh was an amazing host and gave up so may ideas of places to visit, restaurant the entire family would enjoy and the best local pub for a pint at the end of the day! Next time we visit Dublin (since our 70 hour visit simply wasn't enough) we will definitely try to stay here again!
This was our first time using Airbnb and things couldn’t have gone smoother.
The apartment certainly lived up to its name ‘Perfect City Centre Apartment’ it couldn’t be truer.
Daragh was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. He recommended places to visit and restaurants and bars he thought we would like
The apartment is within very easy walking distance of the city centre and its attractions and the many restaurants and bars.
I would highly recommend Daragh and his apartment to our friends and family
The apartment was perfect. Great location, everything needed was within walking distance. Daragh was great, keeping in contact. Overall the place was wonderful, and was the perfect home base for exploring Dublin/Ireland.
My husband and I loved our time in Dublin City Centre. We didn't spend a lot of time in Daragh's apartment because we were constantly on the go, seeing the sights. The place was cozy; a little dirty but as is city life. Daragh provided parking passes for each day which was hugely helpful. My husband and I kept the car parked and walked, taxied, bussed everywhere. Our favorite feature of the apartment was the balcony. We ate breakfast on the balcony each morning and watched passing traffic with a gorgeous St. Patrick's Cathedral and Park backdrop. We highly recommend eating at the cafe, Slice of Life, across the street.
Daragh has a very well located apartment in the heart of Dublin City Center. We absolutely loved hearing the church bells from St. Patrick's Cathedral every day. And the sound of the horse drawn carriages trotting by was so delightful. The flat had everything we needed, the bed was SUPER comfortable, and Daragh was very attentive when any need arose. Incredibly convenient, accessible, and comfortable to stay in, Daragh's City Center Apartment is a great place to be in the center of it all. It was perfect and Daragh was a wonderful host!! Thank you again, Daragh!
