  • My son (16) and I had a fabulous time staying in Adriana's house in April 2014, staying in a large upstairs room with ensuite bathroom (two sinks, good shower), and a small but stunning little private terrace where we spent a lot of time watching the yachts pass by on the blue ocean or the sun going down in a blaze of orange and red. We fell in love with Ortigia and eventually could hardly bring ourselves to leave! It's so relaxing to wander the endless maze of little streets, searching out a new wine bar or trattoria. Staying with Adriana made the holiday even more special. She couldn't have been more helpful in recommending restaurants, giving driving directions, telling us where different shops were etc. Her son and daughter were staying, and lots of her international friends and business associates came for daytime visits. We never knew who we'd bump into next, but we loved it, and never felt uncomfortable or out of place and were soon just part of the family (including Lara the dog and Coco, the bird!). Adriana is a life force - just buzzing with projects she is working on and always looking for a new one. We had lots of interesting chats about life and all subjects related! I think Adriana's house is a great place to be if you want to be part of an airbnb host's world and to connect and make new friends.

  • Wonderful host, she made our trip to Sicily memorable. Was extremely helpful from doing her cooking class to kayaking. Would visit again and again, if we could.

  • Adriana is a wonderful host, fluent in several languages and curious about her hosts. She is certainly willing to make your stay the best possible experience. She has a lot to say and to share about the city and the region and can certainly give you the best tips about places to see, where to eat and where to have a drink..
The apartment we stayed in is litterally a few metres away from the sea and you can sip your morning coffee watching the thousands of small fishes in the crystal clear water. The Aretusa fountain is 100 metres away, the Duomo maybe 300 metres away.

We can certainly recommend Adriana as a wonderful host.

  • Adriana is a very warm and gracious host; whether it was visiting the Syracusa market, alleviating my jet lag with a session in her isolation tank (the only one in Italy), meeting and hanging out with her friends, or eating fried zucchini blossoms with local salami and shrimp on her seaside patio, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. (which we extended an extra day) The location is excellent, within minutes of Piazza di Duomo, and right up the street from Fonte Aretusa. Make sure you say "hi" to Vince & Jo-anne!

It was without a doubt, our most memorable Airbnb experience.
As we drove out of town, towards our next destination, we both said, "I'm so glad we stayed there!"

  • Great location right on the water. The host was charming, but busy with other things and we were fine being left on our own. The apartment where we stayed was not really suited for a B&B (awkward layout where you have to walk through the (doorless) shower room to get to the second room, but we made it work. Unfortuantely Wifi was inconsistent and not available from our apt, only her patio/house 50m away. The host directed us to a fantastic market where we had the most amazing food. Thanks again for a lovely stay, Adriana!

  • Our stay with Adriana was definitely the highlight of our holiday in Sicily. Adriana's house is perfectly situated, with stunning views on the harbor, and right in the heart of Ortigia. Most importantly, Adriana is the perfect host; she has the best tips on what to see, where to drink your appiritivi and where to eat. Her home made brunch was amazing, and our trip to the market with Adriana was great fun (with even greater food).

Thank you, Adriana, for letting us stay in your house, and making our trip to Siracusa unforgettable!

  • Adriana and the family are wonderful, make sure to communicate and ask clearly exactly what you need and expect and she will provide full help!

Also her taste for furnitures, colors and flavors would bring you in a complete new different world,.
    Le mirroirs D'Archimedes is magic!

  • We had spent 2 nights at Adriana's place. Adriana is very nice and warm women. I highly recommend to take a food tour in the market with her as she took us to taste Sicilian food and it was the best food we had in our trip. About the rooms, I think it is not clear enough that there are : options , either staying at a private apartment near the sea but with no windows to the sea ( but with an option to seat outside at the promenade) or to have a room at Adriana's apartment with a small balcony facing the sea. We were surprised first but Adriana immediately were very kind and was letting us to move to the room we had preferred. Thanks Adriana!!!

I'm easy going and friendly. I like to have people around and mostly I like my home. As myself I've been traveling a lot,in Europe, the States and Asia, I wish other people to feel at home when they are here. I'm mother of twins, coach, therapist, mental trainer and mentor. During your stay you can make therapy, have a massage or a coaching session. You can combine holiday and wellbeing;-) I love traveling, getting to know different cultures, architecture and interior design. I love cooking, mostly here in Sicily, it's so beautiful to go to the market and pick up the best produces to prepare delicious specialities, sicilian, italian....thai;-) but not only. I wish my guests 'experience' Ortigia, Siracusa and the south east coast of Sicily, I help them find the best places to eat, where to listen to some music, the nicest spots to see, on foot, by bike, canoe or boat.... 'to feel the magic' of this place, enjoy their stay and spend a real, unforgettable holiday.
