(** I am very motivated to find someone to take the whole unit during the month of February. If you're interested, please inquire!***)
My unit occupies the ground floor of a two-unit house. The guest room has a full-size futon that can sleep one or two people. The futon has a thick memory-foam pad and is very comfortable. The decor is spartan (bed, bedside table, small couch). There is also ample closet space.
Guests will have access to a shared bath, a large kitchen, laundry with new machines (in the basement we share with our upstairs neighbors), and wireless internet. I do not have a TV. Guests can also help themselves to the well-stocked bar :-)
The house is a few blocks from Tufts and a 10-min walk from Davis Square, a foodie destination that boasts many new restaurants, bars, and stores. The Davis T station is on the MBTA Red Line, which connects you to Porter Square, Harvard Square, Central Square, and Kendall/MIT.
The house is also a 20-minute walk from Union Square, another destination neighborhood with coffee shops, bars and restaurants, and a Saturday farmer's market.
This is a great spot for travelers; traffic permitting, it's just 20 minutes from Logan airport by rental car or taxi, and less than an hour by (free!) public transportation.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Chris's house is a nice place to stay for a few days while visiting Cambridge or Boston. It's a short walk from the subway, the hubway (bike rentals) and all the great cafés and shops at Davis Square. As a host, Chris was generous with his space and it was easy to settle in quickly. The house has a nice open kitchen with plenty of counter space. He has a great collection of books too. My only complaint: the laundry machines were a bit old, but they did the job. I definitely recommend this place.
