About This Listing
Nørrebro prime location. Scandinavian decor. Close to all the hip spots and must do's.
Hi we are Karina & Mathias!
Being an devoted Airbnb employee and an experienced host, we hope to make your stay in Copenhagen more than worthwhile.
- Welcome to our space.
We offer an adorable apartment in the trendy part of Copenhagen named Nørrebro. The area is the essence of the Scandinavian urban lifestyle, where cafes, takeaways, music, parks and specialty stores sets the frame. The area of Nørrebro will give you the unspoiled Copenhagen experience.
All to your self, you will have:
* 2 bedrooms
* Living room
* Bathroom (Small/Copenhagenstyle)
The first bedroom is bright and furnished with a medium size double bed (140*200), a desk and has a view over the neighborhood square park.
The second bedroom is classic bright and furnished with a normal double bed, a TV , a table and a chair.
The living room is perfect for a nice dinner and some cozy hangouts. The kitchen is full of all the equipment you need to make a nice meal.
The bathroom is classic "copenhagen style". This means that it is very small, but it has everything you need. Most bathrooms in Copenhagen are this way because of the old buildings and architecture.
The apartment is situated on the 4th floor in a walk up building. So only bring what you can carry up here.
We will provide towels, pillows, blankets. The cleaning fee only covers our expenses for washing sheets and towels. That is why we expect to get our apartment back relatively clean.
- Laundry can be done at several places around the neighborhood.
Everything is close by, we are a 7 minutes bus ride away from the City hall-square, a 10 min bike ride from "Nørreport" and the main shopping street + A short walk away from the lakes.
The famous Assistens Cemetery is just a 5 min. walk away. Here you can visit the grave of H.C. Andersen and Niels Bohr -And of course enjoy the beautiful surrounding park.
On your way there, you can walk through the spectacular Jægersborgsgade/street. In this street you can dine at Relæ restaurant, a budget choice. Relæ is mentioned in the New York times as a "must try" because of the amazing food created by a former chef at Noma (The worlds best resturant).
Free parking space just outside the building! Public transport is a breeze from here! Plenty of options for renting bikes!
We enjoy sharing travel experiences and culture! - We will do everything in our power to make this a great experience for both parts!
Please send us a message with a bit of info when booking!
Welcome to our place :)
We do not have many rules, but the few we have we expect to be followed.
1) No shoes inside. Leave them outside the door, nobody will steal them.
2) Keep the noise down after 23.00
3) If you spill something on the floor, clean it up asap so it won't stain.
4)Turn off electronics etc. when they are not in use (Coffee machine, lights, TV...)
5) Do NOT contact our neighbors unless it really is the last option.
6) HAVE FUN :)
Karina was a great host for when I was in Copenhagen, she left us to our own devices once there, but was always on the end of the phone or email if I needed to ask where anything was.
The apartment is exactly as described, lovely and homely more than enough room. Situated in an extremely nice area where most things are within walking distance. Overall the trip was lovely and I'd very much recommend staying here.
I stayed here with two of my friends and Karina's apartment worked perfectly for us. Karina was an excellent and communicative host. I made a mistake with our arrival date, and Karina was very flexible and understanding. Her apartment is very clean, quite spacious and quiet. The apartment is conveniently located and Karina provides a very detailed guide that highlights all of the must sees in Copenhagen. The only thing that was a bit off putting was the cigarette smell from somewhere in the building or perhaps within the apartment. Being Californians, this is something that we're sensitive to, however, we got used to it after awhile. Other than that, I highly recommend Karina as a host!
It was like coming to a friends place. We inmediately felt home after arriving. Karina's style is cool and cosy at the same time. Everything was super clean! The "only" strange thing was the bathroom, which was actually really very small and everything gets wet when you take a shower, for us it was ok, but if you are big you might not fit in there... The neighborhood is quiet with some nice places to take a drink. By bus it's only about 10 min to the centre. We rented bikes at a place around the corner which gives you plenty of time to discover the city! We would come back to Karina's place.
We were two people staying in the flat for a long weekend. It was perfect for us- comfortable, clean, and everything supplied you'd need. We didnt have an issue with the small bathroom, found it easy to use and keep dry. The area the apartment is in is really great area, lots of little shops, restaurants and cobbled streets with a lovely local feel and only a short-ish bus away from the more touristy central areas. Copenhagen is such a great city, can't wait to come back for Eurovision again next year :-) Tak Karina & Mathias!
Esperamos poder repetir
The apartment was even nicer than the photos and in a good area. It had everything we needed and was always warm (when it was snowing outside). The only downside was the bedding which wasn't so nice and I was allergic to it.
We walked into the city centre but then found it easy to get the bus. It was my second time in Copenhagen so it was good to discover a local area. I'd recommend staying here if you want to explore Norrebro.
I am so sorry that you had an allergic reaction to the sheets. I have never experienced this before, but I will definitely look into the matter. However, I wish that you would have reached out to me. I could have provided you with other types of sheets so that your stay would have been more comfortable.
Thanks for letting me know about the pictures, we know and the photographer is actually scheduled for this monday.
Thanks again for staying with us! You are welcome back :)
