Locust Luxe Rittenhouse One Bedroom

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Locust St, Philadelphia, PA 19103, United States

The Space

@@@ this is a 4th floor walk up, but we have staff in the office to help with your bags and the 4th floor means it is very quiet and no one is above you! Plus the bedroom is in the back of the building and very quiet!@@@

This is a one bedroom with a queen bed in the bedroom, a twin daybed with trundle twin mattress and twin futon in the living area. Easily sleeps 5-6. An air mattress is available for a sixth, but it would be tight in living room, but can put the futon or air mattress in the bedroom. I also have a pack n play available on request for an extra $20.

A great eat in kitchen. The kitchen is newly remodeled with a new stove, fridge and microwave! There is a window seat in the kitchen and two barstools.

A gorgeous one bedroom apartment in the same building as a prominent philadelphia management company. The building is very secure! A block from Rittenhouse Square and close to everything! Minutes from 30th street by taxi. A bus runs right down locust to the historic areas in old city! Lots of nearby amenities like 7-eleven, a great produce market ( maxx's), and excellent beer store ( food and friends), and several restaurants minutes from your doorstep! Like the new implant of new york's shake shack!

This is a great apartment in the nicest area of Philadelphia on one of the best blocks! Close to everything! Everything is simply at your doorstep a few minutes by walking, a bus ride, cab ride, or quick hop on the trolley!

Enjoy the cable tv on the flat screen in the living room after a day of taking the sights!

The kitchen has a full size gas oven with 4 burners, and plenty of pots/pans for cooking. A small coffee pot and we have coffee in the fridge! Two barstools at the bar and a comfy window seat. Great green grocer nearby for filling up the fridge! The living room has a day bed with trundle. Two new twin beds for sleeping in the living room! The living room has a separate window a/c and ceiling fan. The linen closet has storage for your suitcases. Lots of towels, extra pillows, sheets and pillowcases! The bedroom has a brand new queen pillow top bed. It's lovely to sleep on. Plenty of pillows too. The bedroom has a wall a/c and a ceiling fan. two large closets for hanging clothes as well. The bathroom is small but well equipped with a small tub/shower.

  • This is a fantastic flat in a great location. I highly recommend staying there.

  • Andrea's place was great! Located a block from Rittenhouse Square and near some really great pubs and restaurants. Check in was easy and although we never met Andrea she was super responsive via text, etc. The place was very comfy for a family of 3. I was initially worried the bed would be too soft (I like them on the firm side) but slept really well. The kitchen was recently redone and very handy. My favorite part was the window seat where you could sit in the morning with a coup of coffee and watch life go by. Great place, highly recommend it!

  • Andrea was v easy to communicate with and responded to my questions v quickly. The neighborhood is safe - we lived in Philly for a whole before so we know! - and v conveniently located. She checked on the specific no of beds we would need and laid out everything for us before we arrived. Her place was well-kept and had plenty of space for my family of five. I would definitely recommend Andrea and her place!

  • This apartment was perfect for us (me, husband, 20 month old)! Awesome neighborhood, cute furnishings, comfortable layout. We were in town for a quick trip for a wedding, and found exactly what we needed! It was quiet, clean, and great! Andrea has a pack n play, and was very helpful and responsive to our messages and needs.

  • Andrea's apartment is nice and sweet. It is located at down town Philly so it is really easy to get around. Andrea prepared three beds for us which is exactly what we need. The room is spacious, everything is clean and ready to use. Although the days we stayed at Philly was not the nicest (really cold), we still had a good time in the warm and nice apartment. We checked out a little bit late, but Andrea did not have any complain. We all enjoyed staying at Andrea's place.

  • This was a positive first time experience with Airbnb. Andrea was helpful, though I didn't meet her in person. The apartment was perfect, convenient and quiet. I felt safe there and I appreciated the TV and internet. I only regret that I couldn't stay longer. You do have to walk a couple flights of stairs and the bathroom is small so you might want to take that into consideration if you know that would be a problem for you. Its an older building.

  • Location was amazing. Apartment was cozy and warm (especially nice during polar vortex season). I would definitely recommend checking out this apartment -- especially for the price. Bravo!

  • Great value and location. Highly responsive and helpful host. Thanks Andrea!

  • Perfect little spot for those who are not looking for luxury. The apartment is on the last floor of a charming Victorian town house. It reminded me of the Greenwich Village in NY when artists lived there. I can see why people thought that the apartment was dirty: it is a very old building and the humidity in Philly makes the wall paint peel. The building is not that tight as a new one. The kitchen and bathroom are redone very thoughtfully. There's everything you need. I can see why people Andrea, although I didn't meet her, was courteous and responsive.

About
Airbnb has become a large part of my life in the past three years! I'm so enthusiastic about it my sister is now a host! It's a great way to live like a local. I have a range of properties from luxe to bargain. I'm also always happy to help with any questions! I also offer bargains for long term stays and repeat guests! I have been interviewed for articles on airbnb in slate, open forum, and featured in apartment therapy. I'm a fun gal who has lived in Tokyo, DC and the Pine barrens. I have traveled all over. My favorites are Hong Kong, Mexico City, Toronto, and Maine. I have lived in Philadelphia since 2002. I grew up visiting Philly as well. So, I know all the touristy stuff along with the cool stuff. I know the best places to eat in Philly. I know the places to miss as well! I'm a prolific yelper... (website hidden)_n(phone number hidden).html
