Please keep all rooms clean and tidy, the house is a share house for most months of the year. Usually we have accommodation available between November and March, which is a great time to enjoy the Gold Coast.
Our home is a non smokers home. We have a small dog named Oskar, our two hens Meg and Misty provide fresh eggs daily. Please show respect to other housemates by keeping all living areas clean especially the bathroom and kitchen, this includes the refrigerator shelves and floors. I thank you for this. Laura
Laura was friendly and very kind to me. She also made the orange cake for me, which was really yum. The dog Oscar was so cute and he even cried when I were leaving the house. The location was amazing as it's close to both bus and tram stops. Thanks Laura and Oscar :)
I had a short stay for a couple of days at Laura's place. As a host she made me feel very welcomed and was even getting in touch with me before I arrived to make sure I wasn't lost. The house and room feels warm and comfortable, 10 min walk to uni or gold coast hospital. The area felt very safe and weather in Gold Coast is beautiful this time of the year. Laura was very kind and hospitable and very easy to get along with. I would highly recommend Laura's place and would definitely stay there again :-)
I sadly only got to stay with Laura for one night and wish I could've stayed longer! Before I even got there she was very helpful, telling me bus routes and she made getting in contact very easy.
The house was very relaxing and homey, and the rooms are good with bed, desk and wardrobe. It was extremely close to the teaching hospital and Griffith University which was also very handy.
All of the housemates and Laura were very welcoming, helpful and easy to get along with, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling up to the sunshine state.
Laura is a Realy Nice Lady and The athmosphere in The house is so good so if you want a Nice place to live this is The place. The rooms are big and Nice and The beds are Realy comfy. The location is just ten minutt walk to The UNI, so its perfect for a student. And its only 10-15 minutes to The beach with The tram (light rail). She also have a big garden to relax in. All in all Its been a good experience for me!
My trip was short but it was gd..laura is very cooperative and understanding..the place is very close to Griffith which helped me a lot
My time at Laura's place was short but it was everything I hoped it would be. The dog, Oscar, is so quiet that you almost forget that there is a dog living in the house. Laura was the perfect host, providing useful tips to getting around, and a delight to chat to about the day's events.
I have had the best time staying with Laura. She is a gracious and helpful host who is willing to make guests feel welcome and at home as soon as they arrive! Oscar is an absolute joy and the location is perfect for those who like a peaceful suburb near the university. The house has great facilities and I would recommend this host and house to anyone looking for a place in the Gold Coast :)

Hi I am Laura I live on the beautiful Gold Coast, born and bred a Queenslander. The Gold Coast is a place of scenic beaches which stretches from Paradise Point in the north to Coollangatta at he New South Wales border. Behind the coast sits the hinterland where the township of Mt Tamborine may be found.
Personally I have only ever travelled in the Pacific, via cruise, a stay in Tahiti back in the 70's and I worked in New Zealand many years ago too.One of the favourite things I like to do is record the things I see in the form of a photo. I always had a camera in my hand as a child and young adult and now that I have an iPad which I take everywhere and I have become an instragram iPad addict. Therefore very passionate about photography.I do enjoy a social drink and enjoy watching a few Aussie soapies on the TV. I have a small dog Maltese X Shitzu at home. I have named him Oskar. One can't help but love to feed the Rainbow Lorikeets in the back garden of my home I enjoy hosting people in my home which I have been doing for several years, mostly uni.students. I have hosted people for short stays through airbnb and also have stayed in Melbourne in host homes. Airbnb is a great way to meet people while seeing the world.
My home on the Gold Coast is handy to the Gold Coast Theme Parks, Movie World and Dreamworld..
