Beautiful light-filled 1st floor apartment in a magical compound nestled in a canyon 4 blocks from the Jardin (main plaza). Private patio and garden. Fully equipped kitchen. Internet. WiFi.Cable. Parking. Pet friendly. It is like living in the country yet you are just minutes away from the heart of San Miguel. There is a spectacular 4th floor terrace for seeing the sunset or sunbathing with a gorgeous view over the churches and mountains. Casa Dharma is just a few minute walk from Juarez Park, The Rosewood and Matilda. A lovely apartment with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Colorfully and comfortably decorated. Historic colonial design and lovely Mexican colors and charm.

You are surrounded by an incredible array of many excellent restaurants, shops, art galleries, and lovely sights just minutes away, as well as many other interesting and fun things to do!

Patricia has lived here for over 30 years and is a gracious and helpful hostess. She can help you design a retreat or vacation depending on what you are looking for. Her specialty is in Wellness & Healing and Tibetan Buddhist retreats. She can also set up local sight seeing tours, hot springs outings or set up culinary, art or cultural tours.

Services available on site include therapeutic massages, manicures and pedicures.

The Local Markets are Ignacio Ramirez which is a few blocks from the apartment. Bonanza and Espinos are good grocery stores nearby. Mega is the largest grocery store a taxi ride away.

We would love to have you come and stay with us! Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.

You have access to the garden and 4th floor terrace with a spectacular view of the town and canyon.

I live on the property and love assisting my guests in whatever they may need. I aim to be invisibly available. I can also help you plan personal retreats.

Our location is very special. We are tucked away on a cul-de-sac. Close enough to the action yet removed just enough to provide a sense of spaciousness.

There are taxis and buses available throughout town.

Patricia's place is in a great location. Right up the hill from a beautiful park and a quick walk to town. its peaceful and cozy and a lot bigger than we'd expected. She is a great host and we can't wait to come back.

Lovely Mexican styled house. I went with my family to celebrate my fathers birthday and it was just what we wanted. Beautifully decorated, cozy, comfortable and full of nature. Great place to stay in San Miguel!

Patricia was very accommodating to our early arrival. The pictures are what captured my enthusiasm for Casa Dharma. Unfortunately the bathroom picture must be old because the bathroom is not as bright, fresh and clean. Very happy there was hot water in the morning, this can be a luxury in Mexico. I was so looking forward to sitting outside in the morning at the table and chairs. There was no table. I asked the first day and got a reply, "I don't know where the table is." The chairs were covered in dirt and debris of many months. Very similar to furniture on the roof top. Spectacular view and so peaceful on the roof top. The kitchen is well appointed. Great location! An dventure trying to find grocery stores and which restaurants to eat at. The WiFi was great to have to look up tourist information, as this was the only guide along with San Miguel Walking and Shopping Guide. Other tourists on the street are also very helpful. It is important to note that there are 3 medium size dogs in the compound. We love dogs but their barking can get a bit much in such a beautiful peaceful location, especially at night. We enjoyed our trip our to San Miguel de Allende immensely. This place has a lot of charm.

It's a beautiful residence. Close to Centro. Walkable, about 7-10 minutes. Has a rooftop overlooking the city. Patricia and Shane were delightful. It even has a local telephone in case you need to call for a taxi. The place was cleaned right before we arrived, we had clean towels daily. The beds are very very comfirtable. I get a little colder than most, so it was nice they had space heaters for the evening. They have filtered water too. The only thing, my mother enjoys coffee first thing in the morning and she couldn't find any in the kitchen. She's not the type to complain so she didn't contact the host to ask. There's a coffee pot though, if you wanted to bring your favorite coffer or maybe request it. There's two dogs on the property...very very nice. If I could post pictures, I would.

Beautiful place to stay. Short but steep walk into the center of San Miguel. Any picture I show you can't truly capture the view from the Terrace. We were able to relax and truly enjoy our vacation. Patricia was extremely accommodating and gave us great recommendations before and during our time in San Miguel de Allende. We would absolutely stay here again!

My wife and I had a wonderful time in San Miguel at Patricia's. We liked being in a quiet location but within an easy walk to the Jardin and the liveliness surrounding it. The entrance to the "compound" is at the end of a small, uphill, cobbled way that might be a concern for those a little unsteady on their feet. That said, we are both of retirement age and it was not an issue. There were also three friendly and very well-behaved dogs on the premises. I only mention that for those who might be uncomfortable around pets. For our part, they were a nice "extra." The apartment tends to be on the cool side during the morning, so we availed ourselves of the heater provided. The king-size bed was very comfortable. All-in-all, we had a very pleasant stay.
