Ok, looks like I said everything, and if I told you all ..... ask!!
I only met Laura to take the keys but she was friendly and helpful even though English was not her first language. Before my arriving, she would share as much information on how to get to her place and upon arrival. She would share how to get to prominent places like Fountain Trevi etc. Room was also as shown in the picture and I enjoyed my stay there. Thank you!
Laura and Dina met us at the apartment and were very helpful in recommending sites to see and best travel options. The apartment was clean and bright, however I was surprised that our bathroom was not in our room. If I had to do again I would have gotten details surrounding the room having its "private" bathroom, I just assumed this meant in my room (my bad). Having to get up and dressed, find the key and unlock a bathroom door in the middle of the night was not what I would have preferred. I was always worried my fumbling with keys etc would awaken the guest in the room next to the bathroom. I loved having a refrigerator (it needs defrosting), coffee, croissants, a washer and food snacks. The apartment is a 10 -15 min walk to the metro and train (email hidden)ever after a day of walking and sightseeing that 15 minutes seemed like an hour. We took taxis several times which are a bit costly. As for getting to and from the FCO airport....the metro being a 10-15 min walk and packed (and I mean packed like sardines) was out of the question as we had 3 pieces of luggage. The train station is also a walk with lots and lots of steps (no elevator that we could find) and seemed way too cumbersome with heavy luggage. A taxi seemed our best option.... from the airport which was on a meter (the apartment falls out of the city set price of 48 euro) cost 63 euro (without tip). Found a taxi service on line for a set price of 45 euro (without tip) for trip back to airport. Spending 100+ euro for transportation to and from the airport was not budgeted as I believed the trains would be easier to maneuver with luggage (from the description). I think staying closer to the airport may have suited us better with the amount of luggage we had and the many cities we were visiting in Italy....not sure if this would be the same for you. Just wanted to share our honest experience in Rome so you can decide for yourself.
Good hosts! Swift communication and key pick-up/drop-off. Provided clear instructions on how to get there. Also good location, 5min walk to metro and 30min walk to the Colosseum.
Hi Laura & Dina
We enjoyed our stay at your apartment. It is in a very central location and within walking distance to many key attractions and great restaurants. Only a short walk to the bustop or metro. Laura, you were so very helpful with directions and the breakfast sweet treats were absolutely divine. For a first timer to Rome, I am very satisfied and recommend your place!

L ambiente è pulito, buona posizione rispetto alla fermata della metro. Area di miglioramento l accoglienza e più trasparenza nella descrizione della stanza. Per il resto soggiorno ok
Overall I had a very positive experience with Laura and Dina! My friend and I arrived to the place easily since they provided detailed instructions to arrive from the airport. Once in the Airbnb Laura and Dina quickly changed the sheets and offered information on local attractions and using the public transit. The Airbnb is about a 10 minute walk to buses and the metro. The only negative feedback I have is the the shower head needs to be cleaned. I would definitely recommend this place and if I find myself back in Rome I'll certainly look them up again.

About the Host, Laura E Dina
