The place was exactly as described.
Even the "studette" is tiny, it's comfortable and well shaped. Furthermore, it has a privileged location in Paris !
Pauline is highly responsive and despite a little trouble (with my internet connexion) that I had before coming to the Paris, she made her possible to respond to my question regarding the access, the keys, etc.
It was an fantastic room. Everything was fine for me during one week staying in Paris. Pauline is so kind to communicate and exchange information in advance. You can find Vélib’, self-service bike system, which was also very convenient.
This small apartment was just what I needed as a jumping off point for an amazing vacation in Paris. Pauline was a pleasure to work with in setting up the reservation and gave me all the information needed for my trip. She answered any questions I had very promptly both before and during my stay, and was flexible and friendly. The nearest metro station, Place Monge, is within a 1 minute walk, as is a butcher, pâtisserie, boulangerie, several cafes and even a grocery store. The neighborhood is terrific, has a great market that popped up twice during my stay, and it's a 3 minute walk to Rue Mouffetard which has bars, bistros and shops galore. The apartment itself is small, but has a toilet and shower, small fridge, and 2 burner stove along with cooking utensils if you want to save some money by preparing a few meals at "home". There is also a small collection of items from olive oil to toothpaste to paris guide books in case you forget something. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and would recommend it to any solo traveler or pair ok with very close quarters as a great, affordable place to stay.
Pauline was incredibly easy to deal with and more than happy to answer any questions I had before and during my stay. The room is very small, but perfect for one or two people. It's very close to a metro as well as several delicious restaurants and shops. The pastry shop just across the street is amazing!
The apartment is very small and somewhat spartan, but if you only need a place to sleep, it's fine. It has a stove, a fridge, a microwave and a number of other appliances; it is situated in a lively yet safe neighbourhood. My biggest problem was the shower: being a large man with a big belly, I could hardly fit the door! Getting in and out was quite a challenge, so if you are obese, you should consider other options. Despite of this, my overall experience is positive.
Pauline's studio was exactly what I needed for a few days' stay in Paris. It´s in the heart of the student quarter, very close to Place de la Contrescarpe and Rue Mouffetard, where there are lots of bars and restaurants. The supermarket 1 minute up the road was very convenient. The double-glazed windows keep most of the street noise out, and you can sleep with the window open in summer as the street becomes very quiet after a certain hour of night.
I ended up spending most of my time out, but the studio had everything one needs to prepare meals and keep the place clean. The only drawback is that you need to be very organised to keep things out of the way in such a small space.
I didn't meet Pauline but she organised everything so that obtaining and returning the key was very easy.
Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend Pauline's studio to anyone travelling alone and wanting to stay somewhere very central.

About the Host, Pauline
