The Black Bear Chalet is a hand-built, four bedroom three bathroom Lodgepole Pine log cabin. This home has an enviable location near the base of Alta's Westward Ho ski run and next to Little Cottonwood Canyon Creek. Enjoy the personification of the Alta experience with every convenience that you expect from a modern ski home. This home has been spectacularly restored to retain the charm of the original log structure while offering lavish contemporary amenities. Home has one gas fireplace on main level, fireplace on lower level is not functional. From the house, it is a short walk or shuttle ride to the base lifts and you can ski back. **The stairs leading to the third floor may be unsuitable for children under 5 years old.

Important note: Alta Resort Shuttle runs mid-December to early April. Call our office to specific dates.
SUMMER: Easy access to hiking and biking. No shuttle service available in summer.
NOTE: Separate caretaker's residence in property.
