Great host, super responsive. Apartment is well-located, stocked with goodies, and super comfortable. Highly highly recommended!
Kevin was a great host - very accommodating considering our need for a last minute vacancy, and easy to communicate with. We would certainly recommend his apartment for friends visiting SF.
Fantastic location with a good variety of restaurants and the waterfront within walking distance. The apartment was immaculate and the bed comfy. Kevin made himself available anytime and my late evening arrival was no problem.
My husband and I spent four nights in Kevin's cozy apartment. The apartment was very clean, spacious and a perfect location to explore from. We purchased a 3 day travel pass which allowed us to get around on public transport. Kevin was a wonderful host and the key pickup was a breeze. Kevin left us lots of tips for places to eat etc. we absolutely loved San Francisco and Kevin's apartment attributed to that. Thanks Kevin and we hope to be back one day soon!
Kevin's apartment was just as advertised. Convenient location, spotless, incredibly comfortable bed. Kevin was very accommodating to my changing arrival plans as well. I highly recommend.
Kevin's apartment we would happily live in. The sun streams in through the bedroom windows. The place is cosy and homely and full of character. Three flights of stairs up to the apartment is simply a form of exercise. The location is absolutely ideal - handy to a few bus routes but close enough to walk to the bay and restaurants on Union and Polk. It's also incredibly quiet, except for the occasional discussion by the neighbors when they leave.
Everything in the apartment works - there are no surprise instructions to work out.
All in all, a terrific base from which to discover San Francisco.
Kevin's apartment is a great place to stay in SF.
The location in Cow Hollow is one of the best in town and there are tons of shops & restaurants in the area.
We parked our car in a garage nearby which is about 25$ per day and I would recommend doing that,
because parking spots a rare and besides that you will have to move it every 2 hours.
The apartment is very comfortable + clean and the kitchen is fully equipped although we didn't use it,
since there are so many nice restaurants just around the corner.
The communication with Kevin was super easy and checking in and out went quicker than in a hotel.
We can fully recommend staying there and would always come back.
Kevin's place was a great place to stay. Like a home from home and in a fantastic location. It's central to all and there are some fantastic places local to eat and drink. It's in a great place to use the public transport, just get the 3 day travel passes that cover nearly all transport. Kevin was a great host who couldn't do enough for me and my wife.
My husband, daughter and I stayed the weekend in Kevin's great apartment. It was our first visit to San (website hidden) was pristine and his bed was so comfy. I needed a comfy bed after the long marathon I ran on that Sunday. He had everything we needed. Although we opted to eat out to experience the tastes of San Francisco, we could have easily cooked in his kitchen.(Take Kevin's advice for local eateries) He had all of the essentials and more. Thanks Kevin. We had an incredible visit. I would highly recommend Kevin's place.
Stayed at Kevin's for a week vacation for two starting with a swim from Alcatraz, so we were looking for something close enough to Aquatic Park that wouldn't break the bank like the Argonaut or other nearby hotels. Comfortable and quiet retreat that was a perfect home base about a 15-20 min straight shot walk to AP, no taxi or bus necessary.
Never met Kevin, but accommodations had everything we needed - comfy bed (queen), towels and some toiletries, hair dryer, extra sheets (which we didn't need), reliable wifi, stove and good pans (no-micro), electric tea kettle with tea and honey in the cupboard, toaster, oj in the fridge, and two sets of keys. Water pressure was good and air flow made for easy sleeping while still being quiet enough to leave the windows open when we turned in early when we had an early trek to the swim the next day. This area is definitely quieter than many places we visited in SF, so it was a great retreat after our busy days and nights.
Neighborhood has a convenience store a block away (with a decent beer selection) and several breakfast options nearby. A few more blocks to Union St and there were plenty of dining options without having to go far. Kevin left some recommendations, but we already had so many on our list! So much to do, the big screen tv never went on.
Would definitely stay again or recommend to a friend.
