Experience life in a container home with access to Mill Creek and the hiking and biking trails of the Grandfather Ranger District of the Pisgah National Forest. The Trout Box, as we like to call it, is located directly next door to the Old Fort Ride House and Hillman Brewery. This home was constructed and decorated with sustainability in mind. From the green roof (yes, that is real grass) to furnishings purchased on consignment, we created a beautiful, yet quirky space for you to enjoy.

This unique home is spacious and suited for all of your needs while visiting WNC. The home, built in 2019, is situated on Mill Creek and within downtown Old Fort.
