Interaction with Guests
My family and I really love to travel, AirBnb offered us the opportunity to do it when we stay home too. That means we love to chat and spent our time with guests, we'll be happy to share with you all teh tips and infos you need, as a glass of wine when you'll be back from your wandering.
But we understand what privacy means, too. If you'll prefer to have your own space and time, we won't bother in any way. You'll feel free to share part of your time with us as to stay by your own, astonished by the beauty of the eternal city.
Monte del Gallo is a kind of small town inside the city center. As the street is a dead end, almost no cars get around (above all by night) and you'll find real romans living in the neighborhood (how peculiar!). I felt in love with this area when I arrived in Rome from Milan, I guess you'll feel my feelings.
San Pietro train station, useful to go and come from Fiumicino airport and Termini train station, is 3 minutes walking distance. Bus nr. 64 last stop is just in from the station, and it should carry you in the heart of Rome in 10 to 15 minutes. Piazza Navona, campo de Fiori and Trastevere are within 15 to 20 minutes walking distance. Several bus stop, to reach almost all the city highlights, are just around the corner. In the area there are three pizzeria, some restaurants (one of those is my favourite) and bar to eat or for a snack.
Check-out 11.00 a.m., check-in from (phone number hidden) p.m.), but we can deal a earlier arrive. No animals allowed. Smoking allowed ONLY in balcony, never inside the apartment.
About the Host, Vinicio
Hi, we are Vinicio (the bald one in the profile photo, now balder), Elia (the small one, now 9) and Francesca (the photographer). We love to travel and meet people from all over the world. I'm a writer (scripts for TV, above all), Francesca is a teacher, she teaches italian language to foreign people. We'll love to share our apartment with people with same interest: reading, cinema, music and above all travel. Although neither me nor Francesca are from Rome (I'm from Milan, she's from Sicily) we used to live here since 20 years and we feel definitely romans (Elia was born here). With our help, if you want, you should discover a lot of places out from the usual touristic spots. And sometimes, depending on free time in my job, I'll love to be a guide for you (absolutely for free). We can speak in english (ok, what I suppose seems to be english...) and french. And, like our spanish friends used to say, a little of itanol, a mix between italian and spanish, enough to understand and let us be understood.
