Unfortunately wasn't able to stay at the cottage due to a scheduling conflict after reserving the cottage. Joyce was very understanding and offered a deal if we were to come back up another time!
The cottage was exactly what we were hoping for! It's SO cute, so cozy, and the environment right on the lake made for a perfect, quiet weekend. It takes about 20 minutes to get to downtown Traverse City, so it was easy to enjoy TC's great food and events while having a more relaxing experience at the cottage. We stayed here in the winter so it was a bit chilly in the house (there's heat but it's hard to heat the entire space) so I just recommend bringing warm clothes and slippers if you're staying over cool weather.
I loved the lake cottage, it was exactly as described. A perfect week getaway. Short drive to traverse city which is a lovely town. The cottage is just so relaxing and cozy. Joyce had everything set up, a lovely host. Would recommend to anyone
We are so glad we found this listing. Convenient location, gorgeous scenery & a very accommodating hostess in Joyce! If you ask me, the photos do not do it justice! It truly is such a lovely cottage! Thank you Joyce!
