  • Great apartment for our night in Brussels. Nice location & comfortable interior. We slept wonderfully.

  • Great place! Very spacious and homey. I loved the old leather couch as well as the collection of books that adorned the walls. Also, the WiFi worked great in case anyone is wondering. I will definitely stay with Christine again the next time I'm in Brussels!

  • This apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable and perfect for a one night stay in a pleasant street in central Brussels.

Christine is a thoughtful and helpful host who went out of her way to make my stay as enjoyable as possible.

  • Big apt for 1 person, equipped with private shower, toilet, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, water boiler, tv and dvd player. The only minus is that it's a bit dark, but that's to be expected of a basement apt. If you plan a short stay that shouldn't matter much though. The area is real nice: you're close to Parvis de St. Gilles with its bars and restaurants. Also close to many art nouveau houses on the border with Ixelles, including the Horta House (museum). You can reach the southern end of the city center in a 10-15 mins walk.

  • Christine's flat was a very good find and great place to stay in Brussels. The flat is in walking distance to most places and in a quiet residential area. The flat is in the basement, but not too sombre, and is a very large and clean space. There was a microwave (no cooker), coffee machine/kettle, toaster, fridge and washing machine and all the necessary utensils which made it very comfortable. Christine also left towels and clean linen and bought me fresh bread for when I arrived! Altogether a pleasant stay and would recommend Christine and her flat to anyone wanting to see Brussels.

  • Christine's basement flat was exactly what I was looking for during my stay in Brussels. I found it absolutely charming, and it was a lot larger than I expected as well. It's essentially the entire basement level of a beautiful historical building. The surrounding neighborhood is easily walkable and boasts plenty of restaurants and bars and of course, the city center is only a short metro ride away.

Christine was helpful, welcoming and a great host. She was quick to answer any questions. Her flat made my first experience in Brussels perfect, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

  • Christine's apartment is a full sized basement apartment which is very roomy. It is nicely furnished and perfect for a person staying in Brussels for either a short or medium stay. It was great to have a washing machine and internet. The location is quiet, and it is an easy walk to great areas like Parvis de St-Gilles and Ave Louise; you can get to anywhere in central BRX or the European Quarter with a short metro ride. I felt safe in the area, often walking home during the evening or night after dark. Christine was a very nice host, and was very helpful in giving any guidance to Brussels and the area of Saint-Gilles; and was nice enough to offer any essential items needed during the stay from towels to trash bags. She has two very nice golden retrievers. Bottom line, this is a good location for either someone traveling for a visit to brussels, or someone on medium-term business with one of the european institutions who wants a quiet and safe neighborhood with easy access to most areas of Brussels.

  • Christine has a very nice, friendly apartment, which forms part (email hidden) house. There is a welcoming family atmosphere, lots of good books in several languages and excellent internet; the apartment is well situated in a good neighbourhood, not touristy, more residential, which is a welcome change from the average hotel.

  • Christine's home was very warm and inviting. Beautiful 100 year old Brussels home. It is located in a great neighborhood, where you can walk to almost anything. Friendly pub 1/2 a block down. Beautiful park around the corner and a night market a few blocks away. I wish I stayed longer. Christine was very helpful in giving us directions from the train station, which is walking distance from the house. She even left us jam, butter, and juice in the refrigerator. Overall great experience, I highly recommend.
